The only drawback is a slow Internet connection. Everything else is fine; its location, its staff, its cleanliness, and its comfortable sleep. Bring your own Internet connection and come give them a try.

Fair stay, the room had a direct view to the sea. The room was spacious, No towels in the bathroom, bad odor in the bathroom.

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was comfortable with a view of the sea in the distance. The bathroom was not cleaned prior to arrival.The paper napkins (placemats) on which glasses were placed were soiled.Pool area was closed due to maintenance. Buffet breakfast was just ok. The view from the ground floor restaurant was awful. Looked out onto an electricity substation and building rubble strewn around. At around 9am there was noise from the construction site next door. This hotel stands a better chance when the construction around it is completed. Location is not great. It is far from the city center with no attractions close by except the beach which is not great either.

The Eastin opened recently and the staff is very committed for a good and durable impression of the hotel. Although some details are still to improve, the overall experience was a good one. The breakfast buffet was healthy and well prepared, the restaurant serves a variety of good and well presented meals. Located east of the airport results in quite a distance to the tourist sightseeing spots, but with a rental car or taxi Muscat can be reached in 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic situation. Compared to other hotels in the city with comparable standards, the Eastin offers a good value for money.

aweful location,in between building sites and hotel room was very dirty.

A very enjoyable 8 day stay. Excellent spacious 4th floor studio accommodation. Apart from a hot plate and kettle the kitchen is not equipped but one could easily self-cater at little cost. Easy to find about 7 min drive from The Wave. Self drive essential. Did not use the in-house amenities as we were out and about all day and every day.
