Hotel Don Luis

The hotel is in a good location with respect to the Madrid airport. It’s walkable if you’re up for it. The area around the hotel is also convenient, with restaurants, grocery stores, and a nice park all in walking distance. The hotel was comfortable enough.

The WiFi is not reliable in the least, certainly not in the room/floor (1st floor) we were in. This is a huge shortcoming in the year 2026 when everyone expects it and needs it (we had to do a business call in the lobby area because it was the only place we could get WiFi). When we inquired about the problem, the first person insisted it was working (it was in the lobby) and the second person said something like it was not guaranteed except in the lobby. This fact alone is a deal-breaker. The hair dryer also didn’t work, but at that point we were just ready to move on. The hotel is showing its age but we’re not picky and it wasn’t a big problem for us. The problem was the lack of WiFi, which is unacceptable. This is not an inexpensive hotel for what it is, so it’s quite surprising this issue hasn’t been addressed.

El aire acondicionado no funciona bien. Alfombras en mal estado. Difícil dormir, debido al calor.

La amplitud de la habitación. Era una doble con supletoria, pero muy amplia y cómoda
