Latitude 26 Waterfront Resort and Marina

The facilities were adequate. Common areas were nice.

The communication was terrible. First I asked for the opportunity of early check in. They said fine and offered a complimentary at 1:00. Then they asked for information early to check in. No problem, what kind of vehicle and a credit card for any extra charges no problem but also a $30 fee for early check in. What does complimentary mean? Ok I paid the $30 because we really needed to check in early. They will send you a door code before check in. At 12:50 I still did not have a code and I text them. They didn’t show I paid or made arrangements for early check in. I asked them to please check because I had paid. Oh they found it and sent. Then door code didn’t work and then they sent another text with code and check in info at normal check in time. Just poor communication all the way around.

Beautiful outdoor patio. Room was spacious and clean.

Office unexpectedly said they closed before 6pm, so I almost missed check in. Room had a musty smell and the back part was uncomfortably warm because it had an old window mounted AC unit.

Our room location in the compound was excellent. It was quite a journey over the bridge to Fort Meyers Beach not by way of distance, but due to the amount of traffic. but did provide a trolley to get there. We felt a bit like we were going back in time due the 1960;'s vibe. Not in a bad way, but a fun way. The cabana region was a favorite place. Tables, outside sitting area, covered from the sun and also out in the sun whichever you preferred. The room we had was a bit lacking in furniture and an upgrade would be beneficial. It was very clean and the staff made it easy to get supplies when needed. Our check in was seamless, however a man and his daughter did get there late and they were unable to get into their room. We made multiple calls starting at 10 pm to the emergency # and had no response. I believe the finally slept int he cabana as we had no room in our room. Not sue what happened as we didn't see them the next day. I would definitely stay again. The breakfast daily was nice with many already made options ~ instant oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and a variety of granola bars, pop tarts etc.

Access to needs ~ beach towels were provided, but many times there was no one at the area to get the towels. The air conditioner was working, but probably needs an upgrade. More comfortable chairs in the room would be nice.

Breakfast was minimal

On a Busy, noisey road although once in room with windows closed it was ok.

The pool and surrounded area very nice. Grill and breakfast area nice 😊

Sorry but the road noise was a little much. Pool chairs need pads.
