Hôtel Tête d'Or

L' ambiente è familiare e caldo, per me molto importante quando viaggio da sola. Stanze non grandi ma curate e confortevoli, ho riposato molto bene. Staff molto gentile e disponibile per qualunque necessità abbia avuto durante il soggiorno.

La porte de la chambre laisse passer le bruit du palier car elle n’est pas insonorisé car trop vétusté. De plus, j’ai signalé qu’il serait bien de mettre un Bloom car la porte claque avec un énorme bruit! Pareil pour les autres portes du palier

Un individu a frappé à la porte de ma chambre à 1h du matin. J'étais tétanisée. J'ai appelé la réception qui n'a pas répondu. Sentiment d'insécurité maximum, d'autant que les portes sont en 'carton', les serrures toutes simples. Des personnes ont circulé toute la nuit dans les étages. Etablissement mal insonorisé. Nuit cauchemardesque. Femme seule, évitez cet hôtel.

The staff is very kind and friendly, the room clean and quiet with good curtains to keep morning light away. Bathroom spacious enough relative to the room, and clean. I was surprised to see a bathtub. The bed was quite comfortable (for me at least, not sure about people with back problems). Keep in mind that you will be asked to leave your room key in the reception each time you go out. For me this was a peace of mind, but others may not like it. The hotel is well situated in the city, with the railway station and a big variety of restaurants in walking distance.

The room doors are rather old and they do not offer satisfactory sound isolation. You can hear more than clearly in the morning the nearby doors opening and closing. However, I could not hear noise through the walls, so this part at least seems well isolated.
