商旅位於正氣路跟安慶街路口附近，鄰近觀光夜市，距離海濱公園(跨年演唱會主場地)也不遠，還備有腳踏車供住客使用；服務親切、說明到位，價格實惠，會是以後旅遊住宿的選擇之一，要說美中不足之處，大概就是房間及設備已有年份歲月的痕跡，但整理用心乾淨足以彌補!

房門使用電子鎖，不小心按錯就會被鎖定，還要請櫃檯人員上來處理~~

The location was good, close to the night market and other sites of importance in the city. The front desk people were courteous and helpful. They spoke English to me when they noticed I had difficulties communicating in Chinese. The room and bathroom were clean. There was a fridge and electric kettle in the room, and two free cups of instant noodles and free bags of green tea. Best of all, there was a drinking water machine just outside my room for me to refill my water bottles and boil water in the kettle

The bed was absolutely horrible. The mattress was so firm and hard that it felt like sleeping on a table. I know that in many East Asian countries, people prefer firm mattresses, but this was ridiculous. I had trouble falling and staying asleep and woke up each morning with muscle pain. I complained to the front desk, and they did not offer to move me to another room, so I assumed all the mattresses in the hotel were that hard. I asked if they had a foam mattress topper, and showed a photo that I took of one at CarreFour, and they said no, that they could offer me a quilt to lay on top of the mattress. I asked for 2, and the man said no. Then I got the "quilt" and it was merely a blanket. If I had been in town for more than 3 nights, I would have changed hotels. They really should have foam toppers available for Westerners who are not used to sleeping on hard mattresses. Another issue was a fixture on the floor under the doorframe of the bathroom door and ran the length of it. I had to lay a pillow over it, because twice I accidentally bumped my foot on it ad it really hurt.
