Hidden away from the noise of newmarket but actually just next door. I could walk to the surgery in Remura as well as the Les mills in Newmarket and the westfields for Woolworths.

This was our 5th or 6th time that we stayed there. We have always been very happy. I always booked directly through Booking.com, this time I booked via Trivago / Booking.com. Special price they say. Yes, special price for the crappiest, smallest, noisiest little budget room in there building. Never again will we stay there. They gave us nr 3 which is on the corner right above reception in front of the street, the noises of vehicles and buses and rubbish removal at 5 in the morning was unbearable. We did not sleep at all for 2 days and that was very annoying because we have had hospital appointments and really did not feel great after that. Paying a lot of money, thinking we safe some, not!! The TV was situated where the person on the left side of the bed could not see it properly, the air conditioner was situated on top of the kitchen cabinet blowing onto the cabinet and not into the room (I have never seen this anywhere in the world) The bed and pillows were really budget style, and the room was so tiny, not even an extra chair, we had to eat our meals on the bed!!! The shower was really the cherry on the cake. Not for a tall person for an Asian person yes, if you lift it up it sprayed the whole bathroom floor. No breadboard or bottle opener in the kitchen and they did not even make the bed in the morning. There was something else that bothered us. I felt someone pulling at my sheets (both nights) at the bottom of the bed and we heard footsteps in the room, although there was nobody in the room. Sorry, I was very disappointed this time and will not recommend this to anybody. It is sad that it has come to this especially in the tough times we live in.
