Great apartment right in the center of the city, an historic site. Owner and manager were very nice. Tried to stay there two other times during our trip but it was booked. I definitely will be back.

In the very heart of Diocletian's palace overlooking the main square below. Open up the windows, crack open a bottle of wine and enjoy the buzz and evening live music. We had a great short stay. Very highly recommended - very good sound proofing for when you want to keep the hustle and bustle of the city out too :P

This apartment is GORGEOUS. We had to book it last-minute as the original apartment we booked was unsuitable, thus we got a great deal. It is comfortable and luxurious, right down to the toiletries in the bathroom. You can't beat the location as it's right in the main square across from Diocletian's Palace, but the bedroom overlooks a small alley so we didn't get any street noise while we slept. The host is very prompt and accommodating. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is a rather long and steep staircase to navigate with your luggage. But even that couldn't dampen our spirits. This place is a must-stay!

This "apartment" (there is only one) is nice, clean and spacious, but has no cooking, cleaning or laundry facilities? Please don't be fooled by photos of a stove, because you are not permitted to use it. Great location, but difficult to find and to check-into (it took us 2.5 hours to find and check-in). Be prepared to pay your entire stay in cash upfront before you are given the keys. No credit cards are accepted. This is a logistical challenge if you are staying more than one night. The apartment presents as well as it does in the photos, except the bathroom is tiny and ina plastic free standing pod and has 10 minutes of hot water (we stayed 3 nights and did not manage to both enjoy a hot shower on any morning). Be aware that there is a live music venue downstairs that plays to a large crowd until midnight every night of the week. A good stay, in a convenient location, but there seems to be better and cheaper alternatives in old town (eg the apartment above this one).

We loved this place, once you get used the frantic pace of life in the centre of Split in the middle of Summer, you'll love it. Right in the heart of the Roman palace it's an incredible experience. We were extremely fortunate in that the Split Summer Festival began on our 1st night in the apartment, and this started with an opera performed in the Peristil - just outside the apartment window - by the Croatian national orchestra and the Split opera. Very spectacular spending the evening at the window with possibly the best seat in the house. Even without this, the apartment is wonderful, opening the window in the morning, you feel like a celebrity as all the tourists look up to see whose there! Split is a fantastic city with good ferry links for day trips to the islands, an easy drive to Krka national park, or boat trip to Trogir etc. and very lively at night with lots of good, friendly restaurants, and just generally really nice people. Really would love to go back and if I do I will stay at this apartment again. If you go - make sure you take enough CASH to pay - you cannot pay by card - not overly clear in the Hotel.com notes, and caused us a bit of a problem!!

Fantastic central location with a spacious apartment with modern features yet retaining beautiful historic details. Friendly and very helpful service by the owners. Perhaps a little difficult to find initially as signage was not very prominent, but would definitely stay there again.

An amazing apartment in a truly amazing location. If you want to be right in the middle of everything then this is perfect. Location within the Old Towns Palace (which is pedestrianized) does requiring planning if you have a car but you will find it well worth it.

Probably the most amazing place I have ever stayed in. It is not a hotel, but one room in a castle. Very modern hotel in a very ancient building. Awesome! Plus, the lady who owns it couldn't have been any nicer. A++
