Maxine is a wonderful host, very kind and accommodating. The apartment is spacious and in a perfect location.

Great hosts, clean, quiet, lots of personal space and a laundry you could use. Close to public transport and host organised welcome cards that gave us free public transport. Great stay in an upmarket area, accessible by bus to old city. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Spacious room with complete kitchen utensil and washing machine is provided with soap as well.

Great location and a lovely building

I would like to lodge a formal complaint about this room. It is completely unacceptable to charge 288CHF per night for such a terrible room located in the basement, devoid of natural light and plagued by excessive humidity. The room emits a strong musty odor and is furnished with extremely outdated and worn-out items, some of which are likely over 40 years old, the PS for instance is PS 2 I hope someone stop this exploitative price!!!Furthermore, the picture of the building shown during the booking process is inaccurate; it actually the picture of the building next. I will never recommend this dreadful place to anyone. It's worth noting that basements are generally not allowed to be used as habitable rooms in Switzerland. How could booking accept this?

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the basement room I stayed in. The room had a strong odor and was poorly lit due to its small window. It was also evident that the room had not been properly cleaned. Additionally, the refrigerator was old and damaged. The lack of a proper bathroom was particularly disappointing. The sink was small and not suitable for use in a bathroom, but rather resembled a sink for a toilet. Furthermore, the shower was clogged. However, what astounded me the most was the exorbitant price charged for such a dreadful basement room.

Amenities of an apartment in Bern where meals are expensive enabled us to cook and even use a washing machine. Very spacious and quiet location 20 min walk from cit centre and also on tram line if you prefer to use public transport to city centre and around Bern. Also friendly and helpful hosts.
