Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast

We really enjoyed the house, which was in very good shape and was very close to Storm King. It's a good option in the area and the couple who owns it were very accommodating.

Great bed and breakfast! Staff is super friendly and accommodating, rooms were very quaint and cozy and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

If you,re looking for a quiet, restful and entertaining getaway, look no further! The Caldwell house is a very well run and maintained Inn offering luxurious accommodations and excellent breakfasts. We stayed in the Carriage House which is located just to the side of the main Historic home. The Carriage house has 4 suites and we stayed in the Vineyard room. The room was spacious with a king size bed, luxurious linens, fireplace and even a small wine fridge with offerings ready for your arrival. The Inn keepers are welcoming the grounds are beautiful.

Everything was acceptable but not special. One dinner suggestion was good, the other (an Italian restaurant) was really awful.

Wonderful hosts in this historic home serve you a delicious breakfast with other guests. Our stay was very nice. Main drawback was the tiny bathroom where sink lacked combined hot/ cold water fixtures. Location was a short drive to Storm King and a bit further to Dia Beacon. Restaurants were also a bit of a drive away. Location was quiet and peaceful.

Loved this place. Dana is a wonderful hostess and works very hard to make guests get plenty to eat and feel comfortable. The ice machine was very stingy, but I enjoyed the beverages in the fridge.

My husband and I stayed for one night to get some hiking in. The inn was lovely and the bed was comfortable. I know that older places in the woods can be hard to maintain, but it felt clean and comfy. My only complaint is the floor boards are super creaky and the sink had a high spout that was impossible to use without getting water everywhere. French toast and scones were delicious (the eggs might have been powdered, though). Great location for hiking and decent restaurant around the corner, but not much else in the immediate vicinity.

My girlfriend and I recently had an amazing experience at the Caldwell House. It had everything you could possibly want - all the modern amenities with all the classic charm. The room was large, clean and beautiful and the staff and owners were extremely welcoming. Everything was in good condition. I would definitely recommend to to anyone.

My boyfriend and I wanted a mini getaway from NYC and we're so glad we found Caldwell House B&B. John and Dena were so hospitable and the house was impeccable. Close to Brotherhood Winery and Woodbury Commons Outlet. Truly is a home away from home. All toiletries were provided. Our room had an Apple phone charger and iPad . The fireplace with remote control in the living room area and even our room was such a bonus too. Now the breakfast! Yum! We started with baked pineapples, fruit bran muffins and a breakfast burrito with sausage. We will surely be back. Thank you John and Dena!
