Our stay at Quintal De Alem Do Ribeiro in Lousã was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the friendly hosts made us feel warmly welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The location of the property was breathtaking, surrounded by cultivated land, trees, and the serene Ceira River. The rustic yet modern character of the charming house added to its unique appeal. Each thematic room was tastefully decorated with traditional furniture and artifacts, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-maintained outdoor pool, which provided a spacious and tranquil space to soak up the Portuguese sun and enjoy a refreshing swim.

The breakfast fell short of the overall excellence we experienced during our stay. The options and quality of the food were not as varied or satisfying as we had hoped. However, we acknowledge that individual preferences for breakfast can vary, and this aspect may not impact the overall experience for every guest.

Wow!, we were surprised as the place is located in the village area, it was quite a big and nice room (2 floors). The design is made with the little things in mind. The area around is wide and with many types of trees and many plants and gorgeous blooms. Sorry I didn't know in advance otherwise I would have planned two more days of rest instead. Not far from a small town where you can eat or buy self-prepared food.

"Fabulous accommodation and gardens - dog friendly!"

Fabulous stay, spotlessly clean and spacious accommodation - beautiful gardens to relax in. Very friendly owners who are always willing to help. Good breakfast, We travelled with a dog who received a warm welcome too and who thoroughly enjoyed playing with owners dog Nemo in their fenced garden.

An oasis. A beautifully manicured yard. Well appointed rooms, very clean, very comfortable. It also had a very nice breakfast. It was easy access to the schist villages that we visited. Would certainly stay again
