Hotel Miramar

the hotel is in excellent condition in a very nice little town. Staff very polite and welcoming. Nothing negative.

We had a lovely stay at Miramar. It is excellently located (Lanjaron is a super spot for the Sierra Nevadas and access to Granada), and the staff are excellent (very enthusiastic about the local area, with lots of useful tips).

A very comfortable stay in the Alpujarras. Great to have a choice of restaurants nearby for dinner and a very generous Continental breakfast provided.

As we drove up, we saw the manager walking back to her post, having filled her bottle with Lanjaron's renown water. I'd left my passport and other essential docs @ the previous hotel. No problem. She let my friend use her docs for my reservation (I did have a reservation printout, though). El Balneario, three blocks up the road, offers wonderfully restorative Arab baths.

This hotel takes you back to a forgotten era of staying at a plush hotel with lots of period features. The outdoor pool was a bonus. The receptionist was very helpful; providing local information on the best places to visit. It is in an excellent location for visiting stunning mountain scenery as well as the coast. Some fruit at breakfast would have been appreciated. All bread and cake does not suit everyone.

The hotel's location in the middle of the town of Lanjadron was perfect for visiting the town and for entry into the Sierra Nevada. The hotel was clean and good value, perfect for a night as you pass through the area.

Booked this hotel after reading travellers reviews and we were not disappointed. In an excellent location in the middle of the town with underground car parking. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the busy street below and the mountains all around us. The swimming pool was clean and quiet, and the public areas were delightful. Our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning and all mod cons. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly giving us advice on where to eat and what to visit. An excellent hotel and great value for money, would recommend and return.

Charming, faded glory and old world service make this a hotel to be enjoyed, not just visited. Family ownership, table service at breakfast and a swimming pool filled with Lanjarón water!

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Miramar. The decor and ambience was of a grand and comfortable hotel and the swimming pool area was a little hidden gem. Breakfast was straightforward but sufficient and the management of the hotel were extremely polite and welcoming. I had a very comfortable 4 nights stay and would recommend it to any of my family or friends.
