The staff were so great. They met our challenging request at a time when we really needed it. We are super appreciative.

It was very busy, Christmas, which is great, but the people next door were a little noisy through the walls.

As we’d stayed here three years ago and enjoyed it, I checked out my last review to see what I raised previously as excellent. Pleased to say the rooms have aged well and remain spacious, equipped with good appointments and facilities, and the shower and bathroom are top notch.

The very thing I praised about this place last time was a big let down this time - noise! Now, motels like this can’t do much about the modern way of selfish guests who don’t know how to behave in a communal living set up like this. However…what they can do is ensure things like clicking electrical systems and sticking sliding bathroom doors are maintained so they don’t wake everyone up at all hours. Check in was also a hassle this time - the lock box holding our key wasn’t functioning properly, so we called reception for instructions. They directed us to the key return box which had the spare keys to almost EVERY room in it, labelled with guest names. Not secure at all. Left hugely disappointed given our previous really positive first stay. Will be trying somewhere else next time we’re in town as a result.
