Very small rooms but clean. Check in time is slow compared to big hotels.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights. After the 1st night we checked out and moved to another hotel. No restaurant. No breakfast. Very dark place. Only 1 elevator. Early in the morning after our first and only night the fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm but the elevator stopped working for one hour anyway. We had to use the stairs. As soon as we entered the room I took off my shoes but the floor was sticky. The towels smelled like urine. My wife started to cry believing it was dirty but we were told that it was the smell of amonia from the cleaning process. We decided to check out and the guy from the reception was really rude. The manager came and he was very nice and apologized but overall a very bad experience. On top of it all, it’s grossly overpriced for what it offers. We were coming from the wonderful King David Hotel in Jerusalem, so it was a real contrast.

Pros -Great location, interesting breakfast system (you can choose from 5 different restaurants), nice common areas. Cons- Slow/unresponsive service. We were in 4 people in the room and for 6 days straight I had to ask for a 4th towel. They kept ignoring we were in 4! Also, toilet remained clogged even after asking them to take care of it more than once.

Super disappointing especially after a fantastic experience at their sister property Brown Beach House.

Very very very small rooms. Could barely open my carry-on suitcase, no exaggeration. Service was brusque. There was not much going on at the hotel. Quiet and rundown bar. No restaurant.

Very dirty

Everything was great except I was charged an extra 300 shekels at the end, they told me it was vat but I looked into it and I had already had vat included in my original payment. Watch out for this

We had the worst experience. The room was small and the air condition was making a noise like we are in a plane and since it was central, the hotel staff could not turn it off. When we called the reception, they would not pick up the phone. We had to go downstairs to talk to them. The receptionist was rude and not helpful at all. They promised to change our room but my friend was out, so I said when she arrives. When she areived, they said they sold the room that was supposed to be given us. The only room was left was like the smallest room in the planet. He downgraded us for a smaller room and still the air condition noise was quite in the room so we did not accept it and slept with the noise for 2 nights. He was not kind also about the sitiuation and his coworker upstairs apologized for his behaviour even. Such a strange hotel with the worst service. In the end of all this experience, they offered us a 15 percent discount. It was funny because it ended up being our price through expedia since they have added in the first place because I have an Israeli passport.

Very stylish decor and cool vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also free tea coffee and cookies was a nice touch.

This is the second Brown Hotel i stayed in and like the Brown Beach one it needs a refresh, it shows it age and it isn’t good. The condition is very worn out with lumpy pillows, scratched and scuffed walls and bathroom paint that is cracking and chipping on the ceilings and doors. I told the staff this and they were very indifferent. Also i never realized it but one must walk down the street for breakfast.
