Holiday Inn London - Luton Airport by IHG

needs to be refurbed - rooms are smelling , carpets are done, AC are not allways in good condition, elevator needs service . only the gym was clean and overall ok. the staff at the breakfast is realy friendly and serves all you wiches. the staff on the reception , time to time trainie or new, are not realy motivated or knows that the guest is the king.

Served the purpose, staff helpful, rooms not very clean

Quick and easy check in. Gave my daughter a kitkat which went down a treat!! Rooms aren’t huge, but did the job for 1 night before an early flight. Staff in the restaurant were really friendly. Good quality food that didn’t cost the earth. Kids eat free which is great. They have a cupboard with games and puzzles which is a nice touch. Check out was easy even at 4:30 am. A guy asked us if we wanted a hot drink to take with us which was a nice touch. Would use the hotel again for sure.

Lady called Anna during breakfast was very welcoming and helpful. She went out her way to make us feel comfortable.

Someone was given access to my room by wrong key card. A little disturbing when it was 10.30 pm

The service throughout the hotel was absolutely superb, really friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Hotels

Friendly staff and quick check-in, but disappointing overall. We stayed for about 10 hours before catching a flight, and while the check-in was smooth and the staff were pleasant, the room left a lot to be desired. It was in need of some maintenance, and more importantly, hygiene was an issue — both the shower and sink were blocked with hair from previous guests, which was really off-putting. We didn’t report it to reception as we were only there for a short stay and didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms so late at night. The hotel has a restaurant where kids eat free, but the adult meals are extremely overpriced — it feels like the cost of the kids’ meals is just hidden in the adult prices. The worst part of our experience was the airport taxi service arranged through the hotel. Despite calling three times and being told the taxi was “just 3–4 minutes away,” it never arrived. After waiting over 17 minutes and feeling increasingly stressed about missing our flight, we ended up taking a random taxi that happened to pull in. Unfortunately, between the cleanliness issues and the unreliable taxi service, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Good and convenient for Luton. Unfortunately air con had broken down but we got given a fan, bottles of water and drinks at the bar.

Stayed here while attending British gp for 3 nights. I must say staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Lester and his beautiful daughter Laura. Went over and above for us. Would highly recommend this hotel
