All the staff made you feel very welcome. Beautiful scenery. We had a suite and it was very comfortable with a terrace. I would highly recommend it.

This property is stunningly beautiful our room was lovely and very clean. We were only disappointed that we couldn’t use the hot tub because they charged 90 euros for 1.5 hours per person to use the spa. The hot tub was outside of the spa and we were really looking forward to using it after 6 busy travel days in the major cities. The weather was to cool to use the unheated pool so a quick soak in a hot tub would have been great but not worth 180 euros That is our only complaint everything else was wonderful.

"Tuscany’s best kept secret"

Perfectly romantic getaway. The service was impeccable, friendly and warm. The restaurant was everything you could ask for. Couples only - no kids, so if you’re looking a week away to reconnect, this is the place. The staff was gracious and the grounds and view were beyond words

Wonderful, secluded property with beautiful view of San Gimignano. Staff was attentive and available at all times. Excellent food & wine selections and all were delicious. Will definitely be back!

"A beautiful winery/hotel/restaurant in the Tuscan countryside."

Situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside about 10 minutes drive outside San Gimignano. Lovely grounds with the town of San Gimignano visible on the ridge in the distance. The buildings of La Mormoraia have all been restored to their former glory and comfortably furnished. Whilst our hotel room was a bit on the small side, it was very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site, Il Fienile, where we ate breakfasts, and also dinner on our last night. The food was very good. They appeared a bit understaffed at breakfast time, but extra staff were on hand at dinner. There is also a swimming pool and terrace on site should you want it, although sadly it wasn't quite warm enough for us to enjoy this facility during our visit. A lovely place to relax.
