Great, well run hotel with amazing views of San Gimignano. Perfect for families with small children, as the pool and various animals (horses, donkeys and goats) will keep them amused allowing the parents time to relax and sample the wine which is made on site. The staff are fantastic and the service is great, would definitely recommend

Beautiful location close to train stations, San Gimignano and Chianti. Great views. Pool was awesome. The food and service were excellent.

This was the perfect getaway during our Italian vacation from the hustle and crowds of the big city life of Milan and Florence. Beautiful views of San G. Quiet, relaxing stay. Great service. This place was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and the service was excellent. You could not find a more suitable romantic getaway, nestled away in the Tuscan countryside with break-taking views of San Gimignano. The food was excellent, the pool was refreshing and the room was very comfortable. But most importantly the staff were incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful

My wife and I recently stayed at La Mormoraia, near to the historic Tuscan village of San Gimignano. The property is part of the Agrotourismo initiative for the area. The facilities are very well kept with a friendly and helpful staff. This is a recently constructed property on the site of a former convent so all amenities are relatively new. Our room was spacious and offered everything we needed. There is an on-site restaurant that is excellent, offering a variety of Tuscan dishes. Due to the many, winding roads, the restaurant provides a fantastic dining option without having to drive home in the dark, especially after sampling some of the many wines of the region. A buffet-style, help yourself breakfast is included. Staff are available to make your morning cappuccino! You will not be disappointed. Will happily refer this property to others and will plan to stay again.

Booked hotel through Expedia. I had written confirmation that it was a confirmed booking. However, on arrival told there was no booking in our name. Lesson learned - ALWAYS check directly with hotel that you have a booking! Review form insists I give a score on the various categories but for obvious reasons unable to make judgement. Did look lovely!

Loved our stay. Great to jump into the pool have have a refreshing swim. Room was very comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfast was great too
