Skiathos Garden Cottages

Great location overlooking the town with wonderful views from our room and from the infinity pool. Lifts into town and back and to and from the airport. Lovely bbq which we used 3 times and a handy honesty bar by the pool. Friendly and helpful hosts Litsa and Appo always available by phone or text and onsite.

Location was superb, stunning views. Although on a hill, Apostelos offered a free taxi service to town and back during the daytime and evenings. He also met you at the airport and returned you there at the end of your holiday, so it made things very easy and stress free. The pool was great and rarely busy, honesty bar and wonderful views.

The hill is very steep, especially if you're in the top cottage. It's fine walking it from the pool, just go slowly. If driving a car up to the top, I'd suggest you hire a 4x4.

We loved the peaceful location close to the town, the accommodation itself is lovely, the pool is wonderful and the owners are amazing and helpful. We loved all of it!

Nothing - all was great

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Skiathos. The apartment was tidied daily and included regular fresh towels and beach towels. Apostolis was fantastic, providing not only airport collection and drop-off but also scheduled rides to and from town at specific times, which greatly simplified our stay. His punctuality was impeccable. The pool area was excellent: very well-maintained, with stunning city views, ample loungers and umbrellas, and a well-equipped bar offering drinks at very reasonable price. We highly recommend Skiathos Garden Cottages and would be delighted to return.

The location was magnificent added to the tranquility. Having scheduled lifts was very useful. Nothing was too much trouble from Apostolis and Litsa very genuine hosts.

Cutlery only 2 teaspoons had to keep washing them up.

If you’ve rented a car, be warned the road up to the hotel is a little steep and sketchy

We’re a family of four who have just finished a wonderful two week stay here. The hosts Apostolos and Litsa were fantastic. The apartments are staggered across a hillside location. Ours was at the top of a steep hill, which if I’m honest seemed a bit daunting at first. The views however once there, were amazing. It was very peaceful, and it helped us burn a few calories from all the big dinners in town! As well as airport collection/ drop off, Apostolis also offers scheduled lifts to/from the town at certain times of day which was fantastic. He was literally the best time keeper - always there when he said he would be. The pool area was great too. Very clean, plenty of beds and umbrellas, and an honesty bar enabling you to take drinks from the fridge and settle your bill later. The apartments were cleaned daily. Fresh towels were provided regularly (as well as beach towels), along with free safe and air conditioning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly return when we visit Skiathos again in future.

The making of this property is the owners and the view. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They make you feel extremely relaxed and like nothing is too much trouble. They also offer free transport into and out of Skiathos town and the airport. The cottages are also serviced which really helps to let you relax, especially when you have children! The view from the cottages is wonderful. This is a peaceful location, just outside the heart of the town.

Nothing that we didn't like but it is worth being aware that the cottages are on a very steep hill. This is no problem if you are able but if you were elderly, this might be a problem.

Loved the cottage and the outstanding views. Greatly appreciated the offer of daily lifts into/out of town as given the location would have been impossibly ling to walk. Really liked the pool

The location is extremely steep so even the walk to the pool is hard when it's really hot. Would be tricky for anybody with mobility issues.
