Villiana Holiday Apartments

Chilled out no frills accommodation great for family holiday. 10 minutes stroll to busy town centre or 5 minutes to traditional tavernas. Iraklias the owner is very friendly & helpful. Nice pool side area, no loud music. Beech only short distance away. If you want to relax Villa anna is the place. Well worth a visit. This is the life *****

The room was big and spacious and there was plenty of cupboard space! The room had a large balcony overlooking the pool which was very nice especially at night after the kids went to bed. The people were very friendly and very helpful and even when one of our kids was sick they offered to help in every way possible! The room was clean and the bathroom was clean and big. The room was exactly as I saw it on the photos on the net and there were no surprises. The price was fair for the quality of service. I would definitely stay again and recommend Villiana! P.S. Wifi was very good!!!!

Villiana à la sortie d'Hersonissos. Avec une "fillette" de 2 ans, les visites des sites archéologiques sont limitées ! Mais pour les enfants: le petit train et Aqua world(à Hersonissos), le Cretaquarium, Dinosaura Park (Héraklion), Amazon Park. De plus,le temps est trop chaud au mois d'août ! Région d'Hersonissos très vivante, très touristique. Pour se baigner, préférer les plages de Malia ( de sable, nettement moins surpeuplées) à quelques kilomètres. Les Crétois sont très sympathiques! A recommander le restaurant "Mythos" à Hersonissos.

Idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances au calme et proche de la ville d'Hersonissos à 2km qui dispose de tous les commerces possibles. Nécessaire de louer une voiture pour se déplacer. Préférez la plage de Malia à 2km qui est plus large que celle de Stalis et qui offre des loisirs nautiques tels que Pédalo,parachute sur la mer,canoë, jetski...

we stayed we three teenagers 5 nights. The sea view from the apartment is beautiful. Location is perfect - close to the beach, market, stores and restaurants. Nikos is extremely nice and helpful. Very clean and spacious. A quite place for people who do not like too yah pool action. Only downside is the need to climb a hill from the main road to the apartment . Highly recommended!

I went there with 5 other friends and the apartment was brilliant and suited us perfectly. It was very spacious and only a two minute walk to the beach. The owners could not have been nicer and the pool was lovely. The view from our room was amazing as we could see the sun set over the sea every night from our balcony.

Nice, small scale apartment complex built around a small pool. Most apartments offer a spectacular view of the bay and the mountains. We had a two bedroom apartment on the first floor which featured a very spacious and beautiful terrace, but the other apartments offer just a balcony and some (on the ground floor) offer just direct access and a view to the pool. The location is another strong point for this accommodation: on the quiet side of the main road, a few minutes walk up a hill. There's a bus stop towards Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos right at the junction to the apartments, if you don't have your own transport. Immediately across the main road are the shops, restaurants and lovely sandy beaches of the Stalis/Malia area, which continue along a beach road with slow traffic for 2-3 kilometres until Malia, where you will find all sorts of nightclubs, bars and even a McDonald's. Not so great about this apartment was the bedding: very firm mattresses and ridiculously high pillows. Also there are no real black out curtains, but with some duvets and towels we managed to get it dark inside. The pool is too deep for small children, but there are two small scale resorts just down the street to the main road that will allow you to use their pool when buying drinks or food there.

Le propriétaire n'avait pas reçu notre réservation par courriel. Mais il nous a super bien accueillis quand même et il a tout fait pour notre confort! Heureusement l'appartement était chauffé, parce que nous avons eu très froid en Crête en avril. L'endroit est très calme et la jolie piscine aurait fait le bonheur des enfants. Appartement très grand. Les lits sont beaucoup trop durs.

Not to be repetitive I do sincerely share all the positive feedback about this place. Nikos and Villiana, the owners, are worth special mentioning. They were extremely helpful in a difficult situation that we had (not related to the accommodation). The only downside for me personally was the location on a hill as I had to take the baby’s stroller up and down at least 6 times a day. The rest was just perfect – the room, decoration, cleaning, view, terrace, garden, pool, amenities. The overall complex is very well maintained. There is a small shop at the bottom of the street that is open till midnight, very convenient to buy your grocery and little stuff. General tip for travellers with babies - if your baby is dependant on formula or canned food please take all with you as there is an extremely little selection of it on Crete.

Die Zimmer haben eine völlig ausreichende Größe und und haben einen guten Standard. Der Pool ist gepflegt und der Vermieter ist sehr höflich. Zum Strand und den auf dem Weg dorthin gelegenen Restaurants sind es lediglich nur 5 Gehminuten. Ideal auch für Familien. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt!
