Villiana Holiday Apartments

Chris the manager was so helpful and obliging. The apartments were clean and lovely and well positioned.

The host is very helpful and was available for us in everything. He genuinely cares about making sure we enjoy our stay in his apartment.

It wasn’t like that.

A beautiful complex in a pretty part of Crete. Pool quiet, loungers comfortable, water the perfect temperature for a cooling dip. The rooms were spotlessly clean - towels replaced regularly and beds changed, too. Power shower excellent after a day at the beach. Air conditioning helpful to cool room before a restful night. Two real highlights for me. The gardens, trees, and flowers around the Apartments are just beautiful. Lovely smells and environment. The views, too, are to die for. Just stunning. Thanks to Chris and family for an unforgettable week at Villiana ☀️❤️

Nice apartment and veranda with lovely views of sea and hills. Host was welcoming and helpful.

Chris the owner met us at reception. What a lovely man! Warm and friendly throughout our stay without being in your face. The studio room was perfect, bed super comfy and air-con super quiet. Lots of little extras included like complimentary water, cleaning products etc. 5 minute walk to town centre but very quiet area. could not fault Villiana and can’t wait to go back.

The apartment was a short 5 minute walk uphill and my husband struggled with this due to his mobility problems. However that was not their fault!

Our appartment was very spacious, clean, the pool was perfect and not very occupied. We had nice sea view from our terasse. The communication with Chris was very easy and we got also recommendation for really great restaurants around. Parking slot was always free for our car. The beach and small town with shops and restaurants is in walking distance. Air conditioning and wifi worked well.

Location was great. The pool was quiet and lovely. View from our balcony was fab.

Didn't like having to ask for clean sheets and towels. The toilet tissue bin should be changed daily without having to ask. When we did ask, it wasn't a problem, but I think the toilet bin should be changed daily anyway. Our room was 1 bedroom for 2 adults and 2 children both rooms had aircon which was a life saver. Our adult children had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults, and only the double bedroom had aircon. The other 2 adults had to move their matress into the lounge due to the heat as this was where the aircon was. The owner did not like this and called them disrespectful. He said he hadn't put aircon in the second bedroom due to children sleeping in there, this did not make sense as our 2 children's beds were directly under the aircon. I do not think that this should've been brought up to us as we were enjoying family time around the pool. He should make sure all his guests are comfortable and instead of making them feel awful about trying to get a good night sleep maybe invest in another aircon unit!

everything about this property is exceptional. Chris greeted us and had arranged a taxi to the villa from the airport. He is warm and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the week. the villa is beautifully maintained and clean with every need catered for. From the beds to the kitchen area and the best part…the balcony with views over the sea and pool. The pool area is clean with loungers and parasols and clips to hold your towels in place. A shower for before and after swimming. The pool itself is clean, crystal clear and the perfect temperature, just right for total relaxation. A short walk across to the beach and shops and restaurants through an underpass so you didn’t have to cross the road. Bus services are amazing too with one every 30mins to heraklion and malia, but they only take cash.

if i’m being really picky the wifi is a bit intermittent but i didn’t really need it and the chairs would be better if they had felt covers on the legs, as the people in the villa above us kept scrapping their chairs across the tile floors at all hours.
