B&B La Muraglia

We stayed in the beautiful bari apartment, set inside a pretty historic building with lovely balconies perfect for watching the world go by. From the moment we arrived, Andrea and Marianna were wonderful hosts — they even carried our cases up the stairs on arrival and back down again when we left. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. There was a great coffee machine with fresh pods topped up daily, and every morning a delicious pastry was delivered to the door along with cereals, milk, yoghurt, bread and snacks. We were never hungry in the mornings. The bed was super comfortable — I normally struggle with holiday beds, but I slept so well here. We were also recommended a local restaurant called La Arpie, which was fabulous. Andrea and Marianna were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, answering any questions quickly and making everything easy. The location of the apartment is second to none: right in the heart of Bari’s old town. Each morning we were greeted by friendly locals, and it really felt like we were immersed in Italian life. The rooftop terrace was a highlight — peaceful, sunny, and perfect for relaxing on the loungers or comfy sofas with a book in the afternoon. The area is quiet, with handy local shops nearby. The old town looks completely different at night, full of little gems to discover, and you’re close to the churches and cathedral. We did a walking tour to get our bearings, and you can easily walk or cycle everywhere. The sandy beach was about a 40‑minute walk and well worth it. We would definitely recommend this B&B — in fact, we already have to friends asking where to stay in Bari

Lovely location and made very welcome by Marianna. Good pre arrival comms, lovely rooms in historic building with both sea view and balcony to street view. very quiet at night Lovely rooftop terrace for views over Piazza below to sea. Bari is beautiful to stroll around and the B& b next to a new museum - well worth a visit too. 10 mins walk into core centre, 25 mins to mainline railway station. visited lovely Trani to north and Polignano to south both within 30 mins on train.

No complaints on accommodation. (Train services - keep an eye on schedules)

Felt like home. Great location and apartment with personal service made it a great vacation for us. Highly recommended.

Marianne was an excellent host, available at the property every morning and by phone. Fresh croissants every morning. Water and fresh fruit supplied every day. Apartment was also cleaned every day. Fantastic location.

There wasn’t anything to dislike

We were so warmly greeted and treated so well. The hospitality was outstanding! Marianna, the owner, made us feel so welcome. The accommodations were spectacular. Each morning we received fresh pastries at our door. The kitchen was so thoughtfully and generously stocked with drinks and goodies! The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the rooftop terrace was so nice! The location is top notch! We highly recommend this B&B. We will be back next year!

Marianna consistently demonstrated exceptional accommodation and support from the outset. Our experience in Bari was outstanding; she provided invaluable guidance and assistance, exceeding standard customer service expectations to ensure our utmost comfort. During our five-night stay in Bari, our room was consistently maintained in immaculate condition, and amenities were always replenished. I wholeheartedly recommend this to all travelers.
