Hotel Brasilito

Las fotos que muestran de las habitaciones son muy diferentes, se nota muy poco mantenimiento de las instalaciones que se notan ya viejas. Muy mal la piscina con horario por los que viajamos desde lejos. Las camas comodas y las duchas tambien. Para hotel de paso funciona pero no para vacacionar, por dicha no me quedé mas de 1 noche

This place is not a Hotel ,is a hostel, extremely dirty . Mold in the bathrrom, the beach is horrible, and a very scary neighborhood, everything was dirty..NOT COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS, STAY AWAY will be the best for you and your family.

Great place for a budget get away. You get a lot of bang for your buck. The only way you could get closer to the beach would to be on it. 20 feet away.

This hotel is about as close as you can get to the beach without actually sitting ON the beach, which is the main attraction as to why you'd want to book here. It is in an authentic Costa Rican community, you are definitely not at a resort secluded away. There are dogs and cats and chickens roaming freely. The bar across the street plays Latin pop music from noon until about 11pm every day and it is pretty loud. Bring earplugs! Rooms are very basic, no tv, no ice machines, no cups in the rooms. You do get towels and shampoo though. The staff are friendly and pleasant and are happy to assist you. The property is locked down at night and there is a security guard from 10pm onwards. Parking is limited to 4 spaces total and there rest is on the street. The convience store is a few steps away and you can buy some beer or booze and snacks and the little pool is a good place to chill out after sitting on the hot beach all day drinking what you bought, you can get ice and cups from the bar and they don't care. The low price of rooms reflects the overall condition of the facility. It could be modernized but then you'd be paying more.

Nothing special. Hard beds, loud all night. Clean rooms and pool but nothing near fancy. Just happy ac worked good.

I have known this property for 20 years , good location , good breakfast , good staff ect....However the place next door BLASTS MUSIC from Noon until 11:30 at night . Even with ear plugs I couldn't drown out the reggae !!!! I would suggest to the owner to make a silent off to the owner of this little bar to buy him out and turn it into a tour desk or anything else before he loses hotel guests ect... It is even too loud to have dinner in their nice restaurant, Too bad.

Staff is super sweet and accommodating, the best part of the experience. We did not have a great experience here though. Our first room had an air conditioner that wasn’t functional (and no fan). We were quickly moved to a second room, however sleeping was very challenging-the bar next door played unbelievably loud music with a heavy base until past midnight, the air conditioner in our new room stopped working, and there were so many large ants on every thing. Other reviews have said the sound is ok, maybe they had a garden view room? We paid 20$ more (so 90 total) on an ocean view room. The room was hot, so loud, and ants were crawling on everything. Yes, the hotel can’t control its neighbors, but they could purchase better windows and not charge such a high amount for a terrible nights sleep.

Very cute small hotel. Fabulous location, I would request ocean view room. Yes there is music constantly, however you know that going in so bring earplugs and you will be fine. The staff was very nice and walking over to a fabulous snorkeling beach took about 10 minutes. So worth it.

Room, pool, grounds (lots of shade trees! And monkeys 1 day!!) and restaurant very nice..very friendly and helpful staff..and right next to beach...easy walk down playa Brasilito to the beautiful playa Conchal... But.... the bar across the strèet played very loud music afternoon and evenings making sleeping difficult.
