Hotel Brasilito

This hotel is near the Playa Brasilito in the Guanacaste Province and very close to the town proper. If you're coming from outside CR, the nearest airport is the Liberia airport or also named Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport. The hotel is very spartan and don't expect a hotel experience. The mattresses are hard and the bathroom is small. The receptionist has a pleasing Purrsonality.

What a hidden gem! Great location right at the beach. Had a nice pool. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Plenty of restaurants, bars and market next door.

There was literally nothing that I didn’t like about this hotel! If you’re looking for simple and affordable this is your hotel. I spent most of my money on leisure and activity. The staff was so helpful in booking activities for me and even coordinating rides! I’d book again for sure !

I loved the location of the property, 20 minutes to Catalinas, 15 minutes to Potrero, 30 minutes to Tamarindo and 5 minutes walk to Conchal. The staff was very friendly and professional. At night there’s a security guy watching the facility and the parking. The place was clean and they have a little bar/restaurant that is convenient. Costa Rica is such an expensive country and even for me who come from the USA and I was worried that everything was so expensive. I paid a high amount for each night but the hotel is very outdated and needs massive renovations. Management should do something about it. I usually pay the same at “Hilton Inn” in any state in America and those are fully renovated hotel. Also, they told me if I want to check out an hour later, for an additional cost. I have an Airbnb and I never ask my guests for extra money if they need to check out an hour later. Those we’re my only two complaints. Other than that, I would recommend it. Also please be aware don’t eat at the restaurant between the hotel and between the restaurant Brasilito, they ripped us off - food was raw and we got food poisoning and they charged us so much and it’s such a poor restaurant.

I did not like the street. It was very dirty and lots of drunk people around. Plus there were stray dogs everywhere. The pictures were not the same when we got there. There were no chairs in the beach like the picture showed. We only stayed for three days because we could even stay there.

He wasn’t so good right there. The unit looks dirty and so creepy and the restaurant is so dirty muscle stuff it wasn’t good poor

What a great little place on the beach in the small town of Brasilito. Good bang for the buck. Very clean and the staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. This is a very basic hotel room. No micro, no mini frig in my room. No insulation or sound barriers. You will hear everything going on outside. It is quite most of the time but there are bars with music on weekends until 11 or little later They did a wonderful job with pool area and making it tropical and relaxing. LOCATION is Great. I had no car. Brasilito beach , your ion it. It’s not pretty until you walk either way! Conchal is an easy beach walk and a must. Tourist trap but well worth checking out. The pina colada in the pineapple with fresh fruit on it is a perfect size for the walk back Going towards Flamingo there’s more secluded areas to enjoy the beach Hotels happy hour is all day everyday!! Food was ok service was SLOW. Check out sodas next door and 2 doors done. US dollar has tanked there so things are Expensive. For the price this is a good value in a nice little native town. Everything you need within walking

Location - 5 stars, Parking - 1 star, Price - 5 stars, Amenities - 2 stars Authentically Rustic hotel but Great price for being steps away from beach. They have about 4 parking spaces, unless you want to get blocked in. Restaurant not open for breakfast and you have to go up the street to get ice if you want an evening cocktail in your room. The staff was friendly and the pool is very nice.
