The hotel is situated in an industrial area. Motel like layout which I liked. Restaurant was very cheap for dinner but you get what you pay for. All in all nothing special but ok for a couple of nights if you want to visit Bordeaux.

When my flight out of Bordeaux got cancelled, I had to find a hotel last-minute -- on a Friday night in early August. Thankfully, L'Étoile bleue had a room left. The reception staff is kind and accomodating, very down-to-earth. The hotel itself is clean, simple, straightforward: I had a big room with no carpeting (which in some ways is preferable... easier to keep clean) and a queen-sized bed and a table and a chair and a wardrobe and a back patio... All for 60 euro/night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable enough. Expect convenience, not luxe. (A taxi from the airport at 8pm on a Friday cost 16 euro, fyi.)

Bad conditions, But service, not to bad

The room was small for two people but manageable. The restaurant had what we needed and the quality was good for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpfull.

They messed up our booking saying Expedia always forget to advise them. Tried to charge 30 euros more or asked us to leave. After leaving I went back to have them draft a letter saying we had arrived but no reservation and they suddenly found the reservation. Room was tiny, with a wooden external wall with a gap in it. Wifi did not work in the room and water was cold. When I mentioned this to reception they said it was because they were busy. There must be many better motels nearby at a better price. Website info should be reviewed.

Very nice place, a little far from the airport but very nice staff and good room with a great bed.

nice place to make a stop, reception every helpful, rooms clean but basic, hotel used by a lot of workmen on overnight stays, food excellent but waitress not, quite grumpy, nice to sit outside and eat, breakfast ok

Lovely hotel. Small rooms but we only stayed there for a night so it didn't really matter. Really pretty pool area. Helpful staff on reception. Not brilliant if you don't have a car. Clean rooms. Comfy bed and amazing blackout shutter, had a wonderful nights sleep.
