Hotel Cornavin

this hotel next to cornavin station train and metro, i enjoy the room, i can sleep deep and make it happy in the morning, for breakfast its nice, if possible more variety food & drink, cause in 4 days 3 night, its same menu 😊, oh ya in front hotel, i find tintin and snowy statue, this hotel a part of tintin magazine, that is a good 👍👍,

This is a very well placed hotel with location that could never be more successful. I would cautiously say, that for 4-star hotel in Switzerland, it is comparatively cheap (assuming the notion of "cheap" even exists there) I had a last minute offer. The room was spacious enough. Very good bathroom facility. Convenient table, chairs, teapot, a fridge with a bar (drinks for some extra-pay). The reception were very nice and explained all the details about Geneva traveling ticket. No parking! An underground parking is near the train station (70m walk) and it costed 25 CHF a day. The breakfast was 19CHF and it was totally worth it. You pack ur stomack with all u can imagine for totally less than anything worthy outside. There was one problem with electric outlet compatibility. The one near the table is shaped in a form that cannot allow an adapter. Hence I had to charge my laptop near the bed. Overall, very nice stay.

We stayed in a large corner room on the 7th floor and the views of the city and the French alps. The breakfast room on the 8th floor offered amazing views of the city as well. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms did get warm, but the windows could be opened. Great location, walking distance to the lake and to the old town. Right across the street from the rain station.

Very convenient hotel for train station and public transportation. Nice views from the breakfast area!

Location was ideal, two seconds from train station and five minutes from the centre, we had a great stay!

Clean, tidy but basic. Supposed to be a 4 star but would put it more on a par with a premier inn. No restaurant or bar, just a breakfast room. Beds very low to ground but had already read a review that mentioned this and was prepared. Rooms VERY hot even with air con on. Staff friendly and helpful but hotel would benefit from providing maps of Geneva ~not all of us know our way around. Possibly access to trips would be helpful too. We fortunately stumbled upon Swiss key tours when wandering around trying to get bearings and we were able to book some trips but maybe the hotel and its guests would benefit with a link up between the two. Fireworks on New Years Eve were amazing but again nothing in hotel to promote this. Cornavin you seem to be missing some simple info for your guests which would make visit more memorable.

it was nice. the hotel is very well located , was surprised that there was no central heating . I stayed in December which was really cold so I had to get up in the middle of the night to switch on the oil heater . Otherwise it was very nice.
