ITEravamo qui lo scorso Luglio per il compleanno di mio figlio Jacopo e non potevamo non tornare qui per il mio compleanno 😍 Appartamento stupendo, ricavato in un una grotta-cueva dove abitavano gli antichi abitanti del luogo. Arredato molto bene, tutto in legno con terrazza privata, di fronte alle montagne. La cucina è dotata di tutto, sala con televisione e divano, camera da letto e bagno. Il panorama è stupendo, immerso nelle montagne e canyon, con colori unici. Ideale per fare trekking e passeggiate immersi nella natura, fino dentro il Parco Naturale della Montana de las Tierras. La sera ci sono solo le stelle che si toccano con un dito ed una pace assoluta. Ideale per chi non vuole il turismo di massa, ma ha bisogno di fuggire dalla quotidianità e ricaricare anima e fisico. Nella tenuta ci sono anche un ristorante e un bellissimo negozio di souvenir. Torneremo di sicuro per la terza volta 💙

GBThis is a stunning mountain experience. It feels cut off from the hustle and bustle in a good way. The area is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had enough equipment for self-catering. When we arrived in the rain in mid December we were worried that our cave rooms were going to be cold but they were very toasty. Beds comfortable. Everything clean and tidy. It was a great stop off on the GR 131. I don't think you can access it by public transport so you'd need to be walking or in a private car.
We weren't told how to check in and were wandering about for ages trying to work it out in the pouring rain. (Answer - go the the cash desk in the restaurant nearby). There is no phone network up there and although the restaurant has a landline, they aren't open all the time. You can set up the wifi quite easily, however. The restaurant wasn't very vegan-friendly and we ended up having to cook noodles in our rooms. I appreciate this only affects a small number of guests. I was travelling with others and although I booked first and we all paid the same, they had a sitting room as well as a bedroom in their accommodation. I would have appreciated paying less for a smaller space.
