"What a lovely, perfect B&B!"

10.0

Everything! What a lovely, perfect B&B! We were greeted warmly & shown to our room. Cold water was chilling in a little fridge with fresh milk for a cup of tea or coffee. We thought that was a perfect little consideration. Gorgeous room with an amazingly comfortable bed! Spotlessly clean with a deep pile carpet we were happy to sink our tired feet into. Breakfast was delicious. Homemade & freshly cooked & a very welcome variation from the usual cooked full English - Which when hiking long distance trails is something you crave! We’d happily return & will recommend to anyone! Thank you both for looking after us so well! Alicia

"Great location, very helpful and friendly owners, top quality throughout."

10.0

Location was ideal for walking the St Cuthbert's Way. We received a warm welcome from Patrick and Paulette, with tea and cake, and they were always so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a joy, the best local produce ( some fom the garden, no more local than that!), freshly cooked of course. We would recommend this B & B unreservedly.

Difficult to see how it could be improved.

"Definitely a good place to stay."

Great hosts, very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Lots of homemade compote and jams. Lovely sunroom to enjoy breakfast.

A little hard to find as there is no sign when coming from village.

"Lovely!"

10.0

Quiet location within the town of Wooler. Short walk to pubs, shops, cafe and Co-Op. Charming room with comfortable bedding. Very clean. The hosts, Patrick and Paulette, are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Nice breakfast served in the sun room with a view of the garden - very peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely greeting at door then up to room. Spacious room and large bathroom. Paulette made us tea with a homemade muffin which was lovely. Good night's sleep after a bath. The breakfast was really good made with fresh local produce. Really tasty. Best English breakfast we have had.
