Super 8 by Wyndham Midwest City OK

The blankets were thin the pillow was small and useless the floor was dirty the shower had used soap in it like it hadn't been cleaned

The guy at the front desk was top notch nice polite took good care of us and very informative

The night clerk that checked this in Kirk was an amazing guy and had great customer service skills. He was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was not very clean and smelled like cigarettes and even though it was a non-smoking room and the swimming pool was closed on a Saturday Because of chemicals that they had put in the pool, which you would think they would do that during the week and not on the weekend

First glance was the lobby area had their air condition off in the middle of the day. Having heart problems, this made the beginning dreadful. They also want a deposit for their rundown dump of a property. If I had known this was a 2 star hotel, I'd chose somewhere else. There was blood on the curtain, cigarette burns in the sheets, and none of the plugs worked upon arrival but later worked again when the manager flipped the breakers. Roaches crawled on the walls and ceiling with cardboard covering a towel stuffed hole in the bathroom. Found out their "free breakfast" was just honey buns, oatmeal packets, and granola bars. Apple Juice they had in the machine tastes fermented. Least the coffee was decent. The residents who pay monthly to be there constantly ask you for cigarettes and look creepily at the pool. The management attempted to move us to a different room with much of the same issues as the room before. Their explanation of the curtains was a deflection of the issue saying, "the owner will be removing and replacing next weekend." It does nothing for the three days we stayed. The only good part was one housekeeper, who did everything he could to help our stay, and the air conditioner was cold and crisp. This motel, using Wyndham name, should be used as an example of how not to keep your property. If you have service animals, be prepared to show your paper because management demands it, which is illegal. Avoid at all costs..

The price

- The bugs ( Roaches, gnats, bedbugs, etc.) - the stains - the room was hotter than outside when we arrived - room service disturbed us all morning - yelling and arguing coming from several rooms around us - bed bugs - black mold in shower - Holes/Marks/writing in every wall mirror and painting - poop stained towel - blood/unknown liquid on sheets - burn holes on blankets - Creaky un level flooring (top floor) - Had to walk across whole property to access room due to no parking

Horrible ass place to stay. It's a hotel for crack heads and meth heads. Bugs, writing on the back of the bathroom door. Stains on the carpet. Crickets in the room. Just nasty all the way around

The location is good.

It’s very run down. There were water stains in the ceiling and behind the toilet there was visible rot and rust in the wall. There was a hole in the bathroom wall where the remains of an air vent were and it was covered in dirt and dust. There was also a metal plate on the bathroom wall from a hair dryer maybe but it just looked unkempt. There were holes in the walls in the room and the paint was very chipped. The carpets are caked with dirt; I kept my shoes on the entire time I was in the room. Everything needs to be replaced.

It was very dirty, the room had a terrible smell, microwave and fridge didn’t work at all. Bathroom was dirty. I woke at 2:30am being ATE ALIVE by BED BUGS! My husband went to eat his pizza from 3 hours prior and opened it to tons of ROACHES. And to find under the beds was full of trash and it was absolutely filthy!!!! Was NOT worth the 75.00 we spent!

Was bummed pool was closed the first day I got there but other than that love this hotel not a fan of the room service or the breakfast option but not every hotel can afford the luxury that that can be definitely would stay again. They were nice to have clean towels and trash empty when I got back Saturday night as well but had to make my bed myself which I don’t mind either love that there are fridges and microwaves in the rooms as well. Also did have a little trouble with internet as well really slow

The owner is horrible and will treat you like dirt. Then get his employees to do the same. One 2 employees treated me with respect. My son and I had horrible bites from I don’t know what. But because we were staying to get away from a situation I went to work without do a full search myself and throughout the day the pain and agony from The bites increased. Came to the hotel and informed them. But because it was not done that morning, they tried to blame me for bringing them into the hotel. I had paid for 3 days and ended up staying in my vehicle the last night. They said they would refund me half of the “last” night I was there. The owner wasn’t even there was on the phone screaming at me along with his employees. Horrible horrible place

I expected a little more of a breakfast but overall it was ok. The staff was really great. Good customer service and always a smile on their face. The cleanliness of the motel was ok other than the floors needed to be shampooed really bad. The curtains needed to be washed. The laundry facilities were clean but washer didn't spin and drain as it should. I got stuck with having to ring out my laundry before I could put them to dry, but my clothes did not fully dry. So ended up hanging the rest of the time. Oh and also motel room was infested with bed bugs.

Better breakfast,washer working properly and last but not least no bedbugs!
