The Bull Hotel

An excellent freshly cooked English b’fast by Mel, the lovely landlady of The Bull.?

The staff was amazing and the service was excellent, the room was really comfortable, definitely stay there again.

The hotel is an historic building and is rather unprepossessing at first sight but the bedrooms and bathrooms are OK. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the hot water hot. The full English breakfast was delicious.

The hot water tap opened clockwise. (Aaaagh. :-) ) Apart from that it was fine!

Not an actual dislike, but bathroom definitely in need of an upgrade.

Great location in a quirky old building, but the rooms was well renovated! Cosy room and very helpful staff. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay again!

Had to park in the library down the road but isn't a deal breaker, as it was very cheap, free overnight.

Great location and really friendly staff and locals using the pub. Nice bar for a drink. Nice size room and really warm. Lovely historic building in a very handy location for the town. Be aware that the room is above the pub so ear plugs were provided, you would only need these if you wanted an afternoon siesta or you were heading to bed early, we were in bed for 12 and it was all very quiet. Great breakfast, my partner had a veggie breakfast and there was plenty of it, I asked for vegan so what they had that was vegan they gave in good measure.

Shower handle took some negotiation and the back door bangs loudly which was under our room, not a huge issue we only nipped back to change but would suggest checking the door closure :)

Staff very friendly, breakfast was awesome cooked to perfection. Clean and tidy room very nice stay
