Liked mostly everything

Large room. Comfy seating. Coffee and biscuits available. Rather cold.

Bed creaked every time we moved. No seperate shower (I cannot get into a bath).

The pub is lovely, staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, lovely and quiet at night time.

The bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress had a huge dip in it. The pillows had also seen better days. I would definitely come back but wouldn't be able to sleep in the bed unless it had a new mattress and pillows.

Couldn't stay for breakfast because wasn't served until 9.00am!

We loved the warm cosy room, comfortable bed and really good breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. We also stayed for dinner which was very good and there was plenty of parking space in the car park. Hope to visit again soon.

Nothing!

Just outside the town centre, so a bit quieter than other places, but a really good atmosphere. Really good staff, from check-in to departure, and a good comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and dinner and with Broadside and Ghost Ship to drink, what's not to like.

A shame the coffee maker was out of action and there are various floorboard creaks and noises from the plumbing in the guest room that take the 10 rating down to 9. But I slept well!

The bed was huge, but actually two beds built together which is not the most companionable configuration !!!

Very large room. All the amenities needed!

I was a little disappointed with the end of our stay when been told we hadn't paid our bill. Quite honestly, paying on check out is not a good idea as like us others may leave early. I did tell reception we had to leave really early due to dropping my husband at the station and she just said to leave the key. I was made to feel like I had done something really wrong when I called up to pay and quite frankly I found the lady quite dismissive. I would always pay a bill and didn't know we hadn't as booking.com took my card details. I think it could have been handled differently. It's just left a sour taste and I felt it was really uncalled for to be honest.
