Alltyfyrddin Farm Guest House at The Merlin's Hill Centre

Picturesque area of Carmarthenshire. Best value for money out of the hotels/guest rooms all around. Decent amount of parking. Room was clean. Pretty view from the window. Good blackout curtains.

A bit outdated decoration and television. Room was not soundproofed and I could hear everyone passing by my door. Breakfast was not good and limited vegetarian options. I was a bit surprised to have to walk through someone's living room to get to the guest room.

Very clean, quiet and cosy accommodation. The host was very attentive going the extra mile to make sure I have a lovely stay.

Our hostess was very friendly and helpful, especially so as we booked on the spur of the moment and only for one night. She recommended a good place for dinner that night and provided us with maps of the local town and beaches to visit the following day. The breakfast was superb, lovely bacon and sausage.

We liked it all really and whilst inevitably we might have liked a bigger bathroom or a shower, the reality was we booked on the spur of the moment and they were able to accommodate us. So many thanks for looking after us so well.
