"Excellent stay at Koala Cottage"

We received a very warm welcome and the communication prior to our stay was excellent. We were delighted with the suite, very large, comfortable with a terrace outside. It was spotlessly clean, with a great selection of teas and real coffee. The bathroom was luxurious! Roll top bath and separate shower with nice toiletries. 10/10 for the comfort and space of the room. The first night we had cocktails at the Tikki bar, with the hosts Shona and Amanda, what a superb touch ...then walked five minutes to The Griffin.- standard pub fayre but pleasant and inviting. The location of Koala Cottage is ideal for exploring the Isle, couldn't be better. The second night we ate at Thai Journey two minutes walk away...one of the best restaurants I've been to. Book in advance for the Thai restaurant. We had a really great mini break on the Island.. Thank you Shona and Amanda for the informative chats about the Island, general tips and warmth , Sarah, I nearly forgot to mention the excellent breakfasts, quality produce and delicious!

Genuinely...there is nothing that we were not happy with!

"A lovely break in a friendly atmosphere."

The rooms were very comfortable and the owners very friendly. There was a large choice for breakfast and the food was all freshly cooked when we arrived.

Whilst the car park had a designated space for each car if you had a long vehicle you may struggle to park.

So many excellent things to say about this accommodation. Firstly the hosts Shona and Amanda were so friendly and welcoming. The room was gorgeous, huge comfortable bed, sofa for chilling out, fridge to chill our wine and even a decanter with sherry which we were asked to help ourselves. Finally the breakfast! Cooked superbly by the girls, excellent tasty produce, best sausage I have ever tasted. Nothing was too much trouble. We would return to stay at Koala Cottage in a heartbeat. Loved it 😊😊
