Mare Dei Suite Hotel Ionian Resort

While the hotel looks okay there are many faults we found during our stay. We actually reported these to the hotel and was told - thank for these - no apology- no offered to correct in a way. I normally don’t put up reviews but for the price we paid for one night I was so disappointed. The welcome at reception felt very cold- no music in the lobby receptionist made it feel like we had kept here there to check in (we checked in around 5pm). 2. Room is lacking any 4 star touches - you provide a kettle and cups but no coffee station. According to 4star standards this is a basic inclusion. 3. Shower had only luke warm water - 4. The back of our bedroom door is so warped it looks terrible. 5. The toilet seat is loose and when you sit on it your slide to the side so you have to hold on almost. 6. The beach lounges there is no care loungers scattered everywhere so many broken ones etc. 7. The general feel of the hotel is there is little care - in the railings all the ropes are loose or missing. 8. Door to the patio needs oil or something it scrapes so loudly when you open it. 9. Hairdryer is old, it has almost no power so it takes forever to dry your hair.

Ενα καινούργιο σύγχρονο καλαισθητο ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται χτισμένο αμφιθεατρικά σε έναν καταπράσινο λόφο που καταλήγει σε έναν μικρό κολπίσκο με αμμουδερή παραλία και κρυστάλλινα νερά. Ότι πρέπει για ήρεμες διακοπές ιδανική παραλία για μικρά παιδιά καθώς είναι ζεστά και ρηχά. Το φαγητό εξαιρετικο και το προσωπικό άψογο και χαμογελαστό παρόλο που τους πετύχαμε τέλος σεζόν και συνήθως είναι όλοι εξαντλημενοι.

Λόγω του αμφιθεατρικου υπήρχαν πολλά σκαλιά, λίγο κουραστικό για τους μεγαλύτερους αλλά πολύ διαχειρισιμο. Επίσης αρκετά απομονωμένο αν κάποιος ενδιαφέρεται για βραδυνές εξορμήσεις πρέπει να παίρνει αυτοκίνητο

Tout est parfait. Plage privative petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Personnel adorable. Cuisine simple mais bien réalisé avec de bons produits.

Perfekter Ort zum Relaxen. Wir haben zwei Tage dort verbracht und waren am Strand und am Pool. Alles super. Der Service war top. Sogar am Strand wurde man bedient. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, was es nicht am Buffet gab, konnte kostenlos bestellt werden.

Wäre ohne Auto etwas schwierig zu erreichen.

The resort is absolutely magnificent - the fact that it is connected to a private beach which is only available to the hotel guests is definitely a highlight. The beach is clean,sandy ( not rocky) unlike many beaches in Greece. They supply you with sun beds too so it’s really inviting to go swimming. We loved it! We had booked the Honeymoon suite which was superior in every way … 🙏🏼

It’s quite a long drive off the main road - not easy to find…/ newer upgraded road signage needs to also be addressed. Be careful that you have good phone coverage bc you will need a gps to find it and at night there are many areas that have zero path lighting…it’s all black- without lights, you can’t see much. My Vodaphone phone network would not connect but I was so glad my husband had Cosmote!! Take note… 🙏🏼🇬🇷🧿❤️

Tolle Lage. Große komfortable Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Schöne Anlage einschl. Strand. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Très bel hôtel et très bel emplacement avec plage privée et piscine Le personnel est souriant et professionnel de plus ils sont parfois francophones ce qui facilite les échanges!

Une des portes de la chambre ne fermait pas bien ce qui a entraîné la coupure de la Clim et de fait l’entrée des moustiques pendant la nuit

Excellent customer service, beautiful view, very clean, modern and upscale, great atmosphere.

Breakfast was simple continental with a good range and staff were always helpful and accommodating. Location and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather was great.

Predivne čiste sobe,sa božanstvenim pogledom i zalaskom sunca ,izuzetno ljubazno osoblje ,parking bezbedan,plaža privatna bez gužve ,čista peskovita sa dovoljnim brojem ležaljki .Bazen topao sa jakuzijem u periodu kad smo mi bili bez gužve .Doručak solidan .

Jedina tamna tačka je raznolikost ponude restorana oskudna ,jednolična ponuda bez dovoljno grčkih ili morskih specijaliteta .Takav divan restoran,šteta što i izuzetno ljubazan personal dovode u neprijatnu situaciju.
