Comfort Inn & Suites Lexington Park near Pax River

The location was great, we were visiting relatives in Lexington Park for a surprise birthday party. The hotel is minutes from the places we needed to go. There were a lot of choices for breakfast.

The breakfast was okay, they had the same egg omelet type thing both days, they were a little crisp and chewy if you got one with some browning on an edge, so they had been in the warmer a long time. There were some towels along floor in the back right corner of the room as you walk in. Initially we thought the had been overlooked when the room was cleaned, but we saw some slight water damage in the ceiling above the towels and now think that's why they were there. Not great, but not as bad as if they were dirty towels left from the previous guest.

The location is good. Could use some more parking. The hotel must've had a leak or something because the 3rd floor hallway smelled really bad like mildew was there. Our room specifically had some mold in random places on the walls. Not black mold, but it was green mold. Bed and bathroom was clean. Room stayed pretty cold regardless of what we set thermostat to and we think that was the cause of the excess moisture which led to the mold on the walls.

Staff was friendly. No AC in hallway or elevator. Side door has been broken for almost a year or more. Carpets in room are much better hallway needs redone since it is original. Rooms are clean, breakfast is edible.

Nothing, everything was great

Booked online for a Double Room King Bed - Accessible but was given one room with a King Bed. Front Desk said I have to complain to Hotels.com. When ask if she can move us to a Standard Room with 2 Queen Beds, she said there is none available.
