Our stay was wonderful from start to finish...hotel was very clean staff was very friendly and the bed was the best so comfortable and the full breakfast was excellent...i would definitely stay here again!!!

We arrived in Marion Illinois October 30th after driving 18 hours from south Texas. We pulled into the hotel pulling a 10 foot utility trailer checked with the front desk about parking the trailer and then checked in. They have two luggage carts in the front foyer readily accessible. We loaded one up and headed to room 302. The room was without doubt the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever checked in to. We unpacked for our four day visit taking our accessories to the bathroom that was sparkling clean and smelled clean without the use of aerosol spray. Another first everything in the room worked and the mini fridge was cold!! The drapes blocked the light well and the Television was Direct TV. The King Size bed was comfortable and the linens were crisp and fresh. The hot breakfast was the best surprise. Fried Eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, waffles, bagels, toast, pastries, and so much more. Basically a breakfast you would pay $15 for at a Cracker Barrel or other popular restaurant. The lady who made it all happen was amazing! She wiped and sanitized tables as soon as people left. She kept everything stocked and she never stopped moving. The front desk clerk’s were the same, they were always wiping things down when they were not with a guest. I nicknamed one of the clerks “Mr Clean because he was always wiping on something! This hotel should be a model for how to exceed customer expectations!!! Finally the indoor pool and hot tub were just like the rest of the property, clean and everything worked! When we stay in Marion we will always stay at Comfort Inn!
