Felissimo Exclusive Hotel

This is a beautiful 10 suite boutique hotel tucked away on the hill. There is a huge living room for all guests with couches, design furniture, bookshelves full of books, games and a fireplace. The entire property is refined and there is great attention to detail. The pool area is small but nicely designed with wood parquet and a separate intimate jacuzzi area. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and eggs to order. At night it becomes a hot spot for the luxury in crowd. It has a wonderful outdoor deck with about 10 tables. My room was secluded and very quite. The decoration is minimal and white. Occitan amenities are found in the bathroom which is spacious and includes a shower, a large bath with jets and a separate room for the toilet. The staff is polite and welcoming. I will definitely return to the oasis.

i had many reserve about vacation in brasil . but after this vacation i can say it is a nice place to go and visit . i book for me and my family in this nice and fashion/design hotel in balneario camboriu which is a location one our flight from sao paulo. the hotel it'is 20 minuts away by taxi from the airport with 120 real you go there easily . i had very nice room with jacuzi and all services you needed of . They have also a good restaurant inside very fashion and people go there from all the area around , Therence and Marcella the two young owners make you feel confortable . the menu is various and really well done ,and you'll be curious to taste all , plus have a good wine card . i suggest to all that like to have facilities in vacation to stay for holiday with family or couples try it . it deserve an attention . thanks Therence and Marcella

Outstanding, individual, stylish, understated luxury, wonderful inside/outside dining, attention to every detail including quality L'Occataine bathroom products. Free wifi that worked well. Clean everywhere, beautiful gardens, turquoise mosaic plunge pool, friendly staff. Individually prepared breakfast (such a change from corporate style buffets), a fresh vegetable risotto made to order, relaxing back ground music, beautiful views, smiles from everyone who worked there, English spoken - which helped me though I have been trying basic Portugese, I can't rate this hotel highly enough - best I've experienced in 3 weeks of travelling!

My Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in early August. We thought the location was absolutely fine, a short walk to the lovely beach and some nice cafes and shops. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and has a pretty and tranquil outdoor area around the pool and gardens. The rooms are stylish, beds and linen of high quality. We didn't eat here in the evening but the breakfast was excellent. The location does have a problem with dog noise at night but then so does much of Brazil. The only reason we cannot give 5 stars was that for our entire stay there were builders outside working on the walls of our room. The full repertoire of banging, drilling, hammering and sawing started around 8am and finished early in the evening - making it very difficult to enjoy the room at all. On mentioning this to the staff at reception we were told twice that the noisy work was being done on a neighbouring property - we knew this was incorrect. It wasn't until we raised this issue again just prior to checkout and one of the builders wandered past casually eating his lunch in reception that we were finally taken seriously! The reception staff were very surprised as they genuinely didn't seem to know about the builders working there. They were then incredibly apologetic but rather than perhaps offering some sort of discount we were offered a free night if we returned for another 2 nights in the future. Well, we tried to do this recently but found that prices had gone up very sharply from the R351 per night we paid (more or less double) - making it financially impractical. Despite this disappointing aspect, I would recommend the hotel as a nice place to stay although sadly we are unlikely to return.

This is a very nice little boutique hotel, in an upscale residential neighborhood. I stayed here on business and would feel safe staying here alone as a woman traveller, but think the hotel is geared for romantic getaways and weddings. Pros; pretty rooms that are well appointed and comfortable. Nice restaurant with limited but tasty menu. Cons: this hotel is not in downtown balneario camboriu so you must rent a car or cab to get around.
