Bliss Bungalow

Quite close from a big road and dogs making quite a lot of noise during the night. Also walls between rooms are VERY thin and you can hear whatever happens in other rooms... On top of that the curtains are not good and there is a lot of light in the room in the morning. Still the view on the rice fields is nice. but that would not recommend this hotel to someone who has a light sleep.

We LOVED the Bliss. I had not been to Ubud for 22 years and was shocked by the growth explosion and missed the few budget family bungalows in the small village in between vast rice fields...that said, staying a bit out of the "city" was a good choice. (They offer free shuttle InTO town). Our adjoining rooms overlooked the pool and rice fields, mosquito nets and fresh flowers on the bed along with the river rock semi-outdoor shower option set the stage. Neighboring chickens and duck sounds added to the out-of-town pleasure. Having breakfast on your porch beats a resturant any day. Ended up staying an extra day, wanted to end our vacation here in this quiet peaceful setting instead of Kuta! The brief negatives were mainly funny episodes to us: We had water dripping from above in our bathroom from above the first night/morning. From then on the above room was vacant and we were fine. (They gave us the extra night for the on-line, non-upgrade rate then), and during a rainstorm a frog jumped in the shower (my child had left the door open, staff came to play frog catcher). The lush grounds are emphasized by a walk though small rice fields to the reception area where a welcome drink is served. The spa was an afordable pleasure, and the warm friendly staff unbeatable. We were amazed how nice the Bliss was for the affordable price and would recommend this delightful find and definitely return if we ever have the pleasure of a Balinese vacation again...before it grows even more.

Love this Hotel everyone is really helpful their English could be improved as it is basic but the Hotel it's self is lovely ..the pool is amazing...... they say it's 15 min walking into town maybe if you run !!! you need a scooter or taxi to get around ...

The rate for hotel is reasonable. The environment is very nice, very big. Nice field, nice pool. But the location is very far from town.

ウブドらしい小さくて味わいある宿です。 スパは利用したなかったが小振りのプールも快適で静かに過ごすのに良い。 周辺は騒々しくなくホテルを出ると食事するもあちこちあって困らない。

Absolutely fantastic place. Nice, clean rooms and a beautiful view over the rice fields from your balcony. Lovely pool and super-friendly staff. You get a feeling of 'bliss' from the second you walk into the grounds. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
