Hotel Cocomar Beachfront Hotel

This hotel is a little off the beaten path and a gem. I would highly recommend it. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the staff is very helpful and attentive. The beach is stunning - and black sand in places! We saw monkeys playing in the trees outside the hotel.Excellent hot water and wifi. Would definitely stay here again. This hotel was about a 50 minute drive to Manuel Antonio National Park, and we were glad that we weren't staying right in that area because it was extremely touristy and busy. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, look no further.

It is very secluded, rough roads to get to it Very helpful staff and quiet resort.No activities or entertainment. Food was good but breakfast is the same every day

The beach, the beach, the beach!! So beautiful and private feeling. Incredible sunsets. In the middle of the day the beach sand is so hot that you can’t walk on it, but there is a nice shaded area. The room and the pool were very nice too, and the food was good. A great stay!

This is a great place to stay. Ocean front and private beach. The property is well maintained and beautiful. The staff is top notch. Great location if you want to explore the Jaco and Quepos area. The on site restaurant has fresh delicious food, made fresh when ordered. Saying that, If it is busy it might take a few but worth the wait. We will stay here again 💜

Nice long beach for walks, no one on the beach. Great for lounging on the beach. Room and bathroom were not good, didn’t want to be in the room. Breakfast was so-so. Property is on a dirt road 5-6 km away from main road, not a lot to other than relax at the beach.

Beautiful area- quaint and quiet! The beach in Palo Seco was gorgeous and untouched. What an amazing find between two very touristy areas of Jaco and Quepos! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice with a great view of the ocean. Food in the restaurant is slow but worth the wait! The views at sunset on the deserted beach were unprecedented! You can use boogie boards, beach chairs, hammocks, etc for free at the front desk. Pool area is also very nice and near the bar/restaurant.

This isthe best place i have ever stayed in costa rica..the best thing is the staff all live locally as the hotel is not located near a city center...the staff take great pride in the hotel and their jobs..the beach is amazing and empty...i want to especially thank warren and andrea .PURA VIDA

Very beautiful small private resort seen monkeys at 6 am in all the coconut trees outside the room , I would recommed this place if your in the area

I loved the location and definitely will be back. I loved the quiet seclusion of the beach with so much nature to enjoy and away from the crowds of some of the more touristy beaches. The staff at the hotel were so incredibly nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The pool area was very well maintained but the jacuzzi wasn't hot. The rooms are very good sized and comfortable with nice balconies. Best deal in Costa Rica!
