The Alpine Lodge

It’s in a great location and it “looks” like a great place to stay.

Heat was not working in room #1( but come to find out from other guests staying there that it wasn’t working in any rooms). “Employee/Manager” moved us to different room/#12. Strong cigarette odor right away. Let the employee/manager know but was too tired at this point to ask for yet another different room. The gentleman stated that there is an apartment below room #12 that might be smoking and he would take care of it. Another guest stated that the gentleman employee/manager told them he lived below the lodge. 🤷‍♂️ The cigarette smell lingered most of the night.

It was cute. Loved the balcony. Access to towels if needed. Big comfy beds. Easy check in.

There was no direction regarding the fire places outside. No staff to ask.

Rooms fine, Common Area messy.

Rooms good, common area needed cleaning, lack of dining options a problem. Should solve by having a frozen dinner machine and ample utensils & condiments to accompany a commercial grade microwave.

We tried to check in and there was no no one there to check in with. We waited 90 minutes to check in. Once we finally received instructions we had a good check in experience.

Place was okay. Not the cleanest
