"Hospitality was amazing! "

10.0

Hospitality started with quick response to messages. The taxi driver was waiting for us with a name card at the port and gave us lots of advice on the very short drive to the hotel. The pool view was ideallic overlooking the sea and watching the cruise ships coming in. Included a free breakfast. The hospitality of all staff was outstanding. Loved it.

The only great thing about it, is that there is a Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Staff was rude, except for “Kosta”, who gave the extra mile to help us with our much needed transportation to the port, and answered all questions with a smile and great customer service attitude.

First impressions are everything and our first impression upon entering this hotel was awful and unprofessional. My fiancé and I had just gotten engaged the night before in santorini and were very excited to celebrate in Mykonos. We arrive to the hotel to be greeted by (enter name of mean man) who begins to check us in. His first statement is that we have come to the island during peak season and it is impossible to find a taxi. We sit down to get checked in and he begins to explain the amenities of the hotel. He mentions there is a beach near by and then reports “the beach is not famous and not nice.” I then proceed to ask him how to get to Alemagou per my friend’s recommendation. His reply is “you don’t. There is no road that goes there so you will have to get a taxi but again taxi is impossible to find. There is a bus but that is every hour and not frequent.” Completely turned off at this point as our receptionist tells us we can’t go anywhere on the island and that everything near our hotel is not nice, my fiancé and I proceed to grab lunch while we wait for our room to be ready. The only good thing about this hotel is that the woman serving lunch was pleasant and attentive. The table next to us calls a cab which comes 10 minutes later. We are now confused because we were just told there were no cabs and were trying to rearrange our plans and figure out what to do the rest of the day. We ask the receptionist how the other guests called a taxi and he mentions “well if you

"Excellent service"

10.0

We only stayed one night at the Olia, but wished we had spent more time here. Yiorgos was the man in charge and he is the epitomy of charm and excellent service. Within 10 minutes and zero hassles, he was able to rent us a brand new scooter at a reasonable price on our last day in Mykonos. The hotel itself is beautifully kept and very quaint. The wifi was good as well.

"GREAT LOCATION!"

10.0

The front desk staff were very helpful with providing us with information as it was our first time in Mykonos - good honest reviews of what to do and see, tailored to what we personally like etc. The room itself was facing the ocean and had great views of the new port (ships and yachts). These was particularly great to see while enjoying the breakfast (which I would recommend to include as its great value - mix of Greek and continental options, with plenty to choose from). The room itself was pleasant although could do with an update. However, it more than fit our needs and was very clean. Parking is provided should you choose to hire a car. The location of the Olia was incredible as it was located a mere 5 minute drive from the town, where we spent much our time. Further, Mykonos roads are based around 2 main roundabouts - the hotel is located quite close to these so makes for easy access to the entire island. I would definitely stay again, primarily for the value, service and location.

The place was really close to our landing from the ferry and a bus to the town was fairly easy and inexpensive to catch. The hotel has a great salt water pool and the staff was extremely complementing .

"Nice Hotel Near Cruise Terminal"

10.0

Nice new port location near cruise ship terminal. Great harbor views but quiet is interrupted occasionally by ship horns. The staff here is wonderful, especially Yurgos, Spiros, and Dimitra. They are very attentive and friendly. The pool and deck are wonderful. The restaurant offers a good selection of menu choices with the Sea Bass an outstanding choice. Food and drink were slightly on the pricey side, but not out of line with the rest of the island. The rooms are arranged in a bungalow/villa style with balconies or patios. There are some friendly cats around for animal lovers. The room was spacious, but is near needing an update. The bed comfort was average. Good WiFi connection. Options to get into Mykonos Town include: A sketchy 25 walk, taxi, bus 2€, or sea bus 2€.
