Spilia Bay Villas

The place is quiet and serene with a lovely view of the sea. Also, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and well air conditioned. In addition to this, the hostess was helpful and the swimming pool was promptly cleaned.

The location is not readily accessible due to being quite far from the town center. Unless one has their own vehicle/rented vehicle, you have to hire taxis and this made it very expensive for me. Internet connectivity was not very good. One of the bedrooms requires a closet.

Great location , the pool and the views were amazing! Highly recommended!

WiFi wasn’t great

The location was fantastic, The property was probably once in immaculate condition but appears to have been left to deteriorate over a period of time.

The fact that it was dirty regardless of cleaners being in before we arrived. The wellness cave was locked due to earthquakes ( we were not informed about this prior to our stay ) There wasn’t anyone on site like advertised. For a villa that sleeps 8 people, there were not enough beds. No sofa bed as advertised and no single beds as advertised. The work surfaces were dirty There were two cups on the balcony with water and cigarettes in. No plug for the kitchen sink. ( we had to use the lid of a salt grinder) Downstairs shower (shower curtain mouldy and shower dirty ) Labros did rectify this. Chopping boards were stained and had a strain smell. This was also rectified. No iron No dishwasher No microwave Small fridge freezer for 8 people for 3 weeks We had 4 sun loungers for people Labros did bring another two ( then Christine accused us of stealing them and was asked to return them. We did ask for Christine to coma and see the issues but she failed to respond to our message. Not enough outdoor shade. ( we had two parasols but they were ripped and shredded to pieces ) Labros replaced them Bedroom doors did not close. Outdoor table was broken ( it did not extend to be able to fit 8 of us around it, we could only get 5 of us around it. No fire extinguisher at the property No information on what numbers to call in an emergency. Play park was overgrown and not fit for use No casserole.oven dishes No matching drinking glasses No matching crockery Garden was unkept Mop bucket was broken so couldn’t clean the floor. Banister on the landing was unsafe Outside lighting around the pool/property were missing bulbs or broken. Outside light on balcony was taped up Some bulbs were replaced Not enough bedding Not enough towels Not enough pillows. Outside garden steps a large piece of metal holding the stones in fell on my granddaughter’s ankle

The villa is really nice and well equipped. The view is just amazing and the private pool is a big highlight. The villa is also very clean and spacious. We liked our stay there

Just small things that could easily be enhanced like adding a Microwave and making the shower curtains a bit longer because tbh they are too short that the whole bathroom gets wet anyways. Definitely u need a car if u are staying there but thats no issue if u are looking for something with such an offer

Udsigten og beliggenheden alt andet mega ringe😩🫣

Vores ferie er nu slut og vi har følgende punkter som er decideret farlig Isæt for småbørn men også for voksne, mange af os har fået splinter i fødderne og ja vi kunne bare tage sko på men det har vi desværre ikke husket hele tiden. Husene er efter forholdene ok med diverse små skavanker som defekt toiletbræt, knækket spisebordstol, dørkarme ødelagte så dørene ikke kunne lukkes til værelserne. Ude arealerne er meget misligholdte, et havebord lukke vi ikke trækket ud så der kunne side 6 personer, et anden havebord var så ødelagt at porcelænet ligge falde igennem hvis man stillede det på midten af bordet, manglende stole og liggestolen til 6 personer, knækkede og defekte træbrædder omkring poolene, et kæmpe held at ingen er kommet til skade. Pool kanten som er lavet af en flisekant er løse og under dem er jernet tæret væk Virkelig et farligt sted at opholde sig. Man kan tydelig se at der er forsøgt reparationer med silicone Legepladsen er helt tilgroet, ubrugelig og rustet i stykker. Jeg vil virkelig opfordre booking.com om at se på forholdene. Jeg vil virkelig fraråde. Børnefamilier om at holde sig fra dette sted. Vi fik at vide fra manden som passer stedet at man hverken måtte løbe, danse eller hoppe da man kunne skatte igennem terrassen eller falde over buet hjørner på trætterrassen . Hvordan kan man holde en 2 og en 2 1/2 årige barn til ikke at må noget. Ved ankomst havde vi fået lovet 3 børne stole men der var kun 2, da viceværten kom til os om tirsdagen rykkede vi for stolen og påpegede andre skavanker, han lovede at snakke med udlejer men vi hverken så eller hørte noget fra ham eller udlejer resten af ferien.

I really liked the view from the villa

Everything is really old. Needs upgrades immediately... there were so many cockroaches. They were huge. fFrom the first night I killed 4 of them. Second day there was one in put bed we woke up it was dead under the pillow. What a nice way to start the day... Tiles around the pool was not safe for kids most of them were moving. It had everything we needed, including all new cookware and all utensils. The house manager was amazing, we had trouble getting a car so he took my husband down to the shops and even sorted out a rental for us, he went above and beyond. He was really helpful.

It's a little out of the way. A car is definitely needed, but that's stated in the description when booking. They were updating and improving the area as they went along so I can imagine it will be amazing in time

DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION IT IS NOT SAFE AND DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN 1. On arrival the cot for our 1 year old was missing. On phoning the owner (an extremely rude & dismissive woman) we were told she couldn't do anything that day as not local & neither was cot & if we didn't like it we could leave. We found out next morning that the cot was on site next door. 2.Configuration of beds booked was not provided - no single beds which we had booked as per website. 3.Banister at top of stairs very unsteady and shaky, held together with tiny metal bracket. Response when we said this was dangerous for children in particular was that they shouldn't touch it. 4.No plug kitchen sink so difficult to do washing up - we had to share plug with family next door. 5. No line or airer for drying. 7. No paperwork & only one key to villa. 8..Loose, dangerous heavy concrete tiles surrounding pool. 9.Splintered wood & loose nails on wooden decking. Nasty splinter for one of our children and adult injury from loose nail going into foot. Adult went through one of the deck planks and sustained an injury. A repair was then done by the handyman but left it with jagged splinters of wood at which point I said that was totally unacceptable. He then put some artificial grass over it. Deep drops underneath due to villas being built on hill so we felt very uncomfortable walking around on decking. 10.We were party of 5 adults + 2 children but there were only 3 old sunbeds by the pool & very limited shade, umbrellas very tatty. 11.Area beneath villas with chess, BBQ, 'sauna facilities' etc extremely tatty. 12.After a few days we contacted the owner and told her that in our opinion it was not safe for us to stay any longer & were offered a refund for the remainder of the stay.
