Luxurious but not pretentious hotel, with wonderful views, amenities and food. Perfect location to feel like you are away from the crowds (lovely, relaxing pool and spa facilities), but also for exploring the area and enjoying adventures. Two suites fit our family of six perfectly, without feeling crowded. Service was friendly and excellent, especially Frederico at the front desk and Andrea and Heidi in the restaurant. Half board option is very reasonable for four course gourmet dinner, with full menu selection. Fabulous buffet breakfast, which includes made to order eggs and omelettes, overlooking the lake - couldn’t be a better way to start the day.

"Hôtel très accueillant et confortable"

Très bel établissement très bien tenue. Le personnel toujours souriant est d’une extrême gentillesse. Les suites sont spacieuses, très bien équipées et confortables. Les équipements sont de qualités. Le restaurant de l’hôtel bénéficie d’une belle terrasse surplombant le lac majeur et sert une excellente cuisine. Nous avons séjourné dans la suite Panoramic View Lake avec nos deux enfants, un bonheur, spacieuse et vue imprenable.

"First Class ALL the way"

We stay at the best hotels around the world and this hotel as at the top of the list. We have also stayed at the Eden Roc down in Ascona... not even close to the quality of Villa Orselina and Eden Roc is nearly 4x the price!! The views are stunning, you are steps from the funicular down (to the town) and the tram up (for hiking), and the best part of our stay... THE SERVICE!!! Among the best of the best we have ever experienced! (and that is saying a lot considering we only stay at 5-star hotels). CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!
