TreeHouse Blue, Hotel & Serviced Apartments

This was a great hotel - big rooms/apartments with plenty of space. The building is maintained very well and is very clean. Lots of games available to play on the ground floor including table tennis, carrom, chess, board games etc. The hotel was very quiet and couldn’t hear anyone from our room. The pool was also very good. All reception staff are very helpful and they have a WhatsApp group to help out with any questions. It’s around 30 min walk to the beach or 5 minutes in a taxi (wouldn’t recommend walking is it’s too hot!).

Location, nothing else

This is my first ever review, I beleive. I felt unsafe at this property. Horrible room condition is something secondary. So this place is a haven for dampness, soiled walls, unpleasant odour and an owner who threatens guests at 10:15 at night! The rooms were damp and have walls which were leaking with water marks, throughout the rooms. They changed the room, was a bit better but nowhere close to the price. In the first room bedroom AC was not working. In the second option, hall AC wasn't working. After a wait of 15 minutes in boiling room, housekeeping manager appeared and after his 10 minutes research declared that the AC is not working. Thanks to Google, I understood that IFB AC remote control. This ordeal of two rooms costed me two hours, drenching in sweat. It didn't end here. Around 10 in night, while I was taking stairs to room, out of nowhere the property owner appeared out of a room and started asking me that had I complaint to booking.com and am I not happy with the property and have I asked for a refund. Looking at her I asked who you are, as because if her night apparels, she mentioned being the owner. Then she mentioned that the website has asked them to respond within 24 hours. I asked her why did she stopped me on the way to my room and why she is asking all this at this odd hour on a staircase? I rushed to my room along with my family. What a horrible stay!
