"They overbooked their hotel and could not accommodate our booking from days before"

When we arrived to check in they said that they were fully booked after we got confirmation days before from booking and we also called on our way to the hotel in the morning from the west side of France. No refund was given for over booking and they moved us to a hotel 20 minutes away after we drove 12.5 hours to get to their hotel.
