Hotel Plaza

Didn't actually get to stay at this hotel, because our pre-paid booking was denied on check-in and we were asked to pay double in cash by the receptionist, who couldn't understand English unless you were speaking money. Just want your gringo dollar!!! We refused to pay again and found alternative accomodation. I advise you to do this too. Much nicer hotels in the area.

They had good breakfast . They also had free drinking water (bottles and water machine) which was very helpful.They had pastry shop across the road which also was helpful to buy lunch.Parking lot was a little far away. They had a hole in the wall and the mosquito may have came in from it.

Town is a little short on restaurants for tourists

A beautiful, stately old lady of a hotel! The staff was very nice, from the front desk to the dining room and housekeeping. The hotel has balconies, some with lovely views of the church and town square, but they face busy streets, which do eventually quiet down. The inner courtyard rooms do not have the view, you see the dining room. The breakfast that was included had a lot of choices and everything was very good. Including the coffe! Be aware that their parking lot is 3 blocks away, so you get to stretch your legs after you drop off your bags.

Very nice little hotel right in the center of Ticul. This is one of the only hotel I could find close to the Puuc Area at a fair price.

Near Ruta Puuc Mayan ruins. Ticul not much of a town but this is a very nice clean comfortable hotel. Beds were fine as was AC. Breakfast OK but lacked brewed coffee. Worth staying here to see surrounding sights rather than staying in Merida and drving out.

Right on the main Plaza in Ticul, this hotel, though old, was a great choice. Rooms were very clean, service was excellent, and breakfast was a very nice bonus. Beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was that, probably because there were few people in the hotel, on two occasions we had to ask the manager to turn on the hot water. Street parking was easy and convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Located in center of Ticul Maya town. Hotel is a old building but I had free breakfast and good shower and served with very cold water bottle. Fine

It was very positive - we got a room facing the courtyard which was important because the rooms with street view are noisy. The restaurant and breakfast were mediocre - strangely, it is very difficult to find normal family eating places with appr. 7am to 10pm hours in the entire town. We ended up eating in Santa Elena.
