Hotel Aldo Moro

Clearly a family run hotel, most courteous and accommodating. My room was clean and I would say very traditional of Montagnana. I did not have the pleasure of dining in the restaurant, however the menu looked exquisite. Unfortunately no room safe to keep one's passport etc. but one could also argue there was no need in such a quiet town.

Hotel molto ben curato nell'arredamento delle parti comuni, camere non grandissime ma vivibili. Pochissime prese elettriche in camera, per caricare lo smartphone bisogna liberare la presa staccando la lampada da tavolo. Pulito e lontano dai rumori esterni. A due passi dalla piazza centrale.

I had the pleasure of staying at Aldo Moro Hotel from October through October 17, 2014. The last time I was there in January 2014 there was lots of construction going on in the lobby and in the restaurant area. By the time I returned in October I was greeted by a bright and tastefully decorated reception area and lobby. I had the pleasure of having a light supper in the expanded and elegant dinning room. The kitchen area is now tastefully visible from the dinning room. The food was wonderful as usual. The rooms were the same, clean and comfortable but basic rooms I have enjoyed on my many trips to Montagnana. All in all the Aldo Moro Hotel is a unique and pleasant experience inside the Medieval Walls of the town.

Die Stadt erinnert an Rothenburg ob der Tauber oder Dinkelsbühl, nur wesentlich mehr eingeschränkt. Die Innenstadt ist teilweise abends und nachts sowie an Sonntagen ab 15 Uhr komplett gesperrt, das Hotel ab 0:30 nachts zu.. Das besuchte Ehepaar, ein ital. Tenor und eine Sopranistin wohnen außerhalb der Stadtmauer. Das Hotel aus dem Jahr 1940 ist gediegen mit viel Ambiente und Stil. Wirklich schönes Hotel, so wie man sich ein Hotel vorstellt. Das Personal und die Führung sind entsprechend gut.

I was there twice, both time for business we had with a company in that area. Montagnana is such a nice place to spend a few days and this hotel offers fantastic atmosphere too. Location is very good - the chapel is not far away from the hotel. The room I had wasn't big but it was enough for a comfortable bed, quite a big closet, a spaceous bathroom with a big shower area. Superb service, nice and quite traditional for Italy breakfast, fantastic 5* meals are served every night in their restaurant - excellent mark to the chef. Rooms are always clean. The staff is very nice - I think this is the best hotel I stayed with. The decor of the interior is classic. Highly recommend it to everyone who is planning to visit the area.

First rate family-run hotel and restaurant in a convenient town centre location, and with adjacent reserved on-street parking. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive and obliging, and in the restaurant, at dinner the food and service were exemplary - top marks to the chef - and the breakfast was excellent. Altogether deserving of a 'highly recommended' review. 'An English visitor'.

Ich war für 2 Nächte im Aldo Moro und muss sagen, mein Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Hotel ist familiengeführt. Bei Fragen wurde mir immer sehr nett weiter geholfen. Auch bei der Frage nach Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend wurden mir sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet nur in der früh ein bisschen hellhörig (die Straße durch die Innenstadt lag genau an meinem Fenster). Das Zimmer wurde sehr sauber gehalten und das Bad war auch sauber und ausreichend eingerichtet. Es gibt auch kostenloses w-lan, wofür man sich am Empfang Zugangsdaten geben lassen muss. Das Hotel ist aus meiner Sicht eine Weiterempfehlung wert.

It's not the Ritz, or some flashy boutique hotel, but if you're in the area for any reason ( most likely the fabulous food) then this hotel may suit your needs. It's slightly dated in decor (I suppose it has been here since the 1940s....), but clean and functional. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though a little attention to the decor and accessories would not go astray ( table lamps, wall art etc...) It's a calm place, with pleasant, unstuffy staff.
