"Very calm and excellent restaurant"

My wife and I stayed two nights in the hotel mid October. We loved the calm, the view, the restaurant and the space. We will be back, potentially for up to one week to enjoy the pool and the quiet resort from which to discover the area.

"Breathtaking view in the Gargano!"

Il Porto is situated above the sea with a gorgeous panoramic view that can't be beat! The room was simple but comfortable. We were too tired to find a restaurant in town for dinner our first evening so ate in the hotel restaurant and it was incredible - I really wasn't expecting that. My experience has been that hotel restaurants are generally pretty average. This was very different! The food was prepared well, the service rivaled that of any top restaurants anywhere, and the dessert was the best I've had in Italy (which is saying a lot!) Also, Vanessa at the front desk was charming and very helpful in recommending places to eat in town and hikes in the Gargano. Highly recommend Il Porto!

"A really relaxing break"

We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and its staff, it was superb, however we did not hire a car and I think we would have seen more places if we had of had one, the local transport is quite scarce. This said though the shuttle bus to the hotels beach is brilliant. Not having a car meant that we had no choice but to relax and this hotel certainly encouraged this, everything about it was brilliant, if I had to find one critism, it would be the swimming pool, I did not like the fact that it had sloping sides and no steps to get in or out..the terraces are huge so maybe a hot tub on each one would be a good idea...

"Stunning view, comfortable rooms & stylish bar"

A great hotel & self-catering apartments, the staff were friendly and very professional throughout our stay. The rooms are simple and work very well, looking down over the amazing view. The bar and restaurant, next to the pool are very stylish and a great place for a glass of wine at dusk.
