Aonang Regent Hotel

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet area within walking distance to mini mart, restaurants, and massage and one mile walking or tuk tuk to beach area. Really enjoyed being able to retreat to a quiet neighborhood of Ao Nang. Balcony overlooked the pool with palms and a majestic mountain backdrop. Drinks available for purchase in the lobby, mini fridge, and two free bottled waters a day. Very clean pool with in water bench and kiddy pool, chairs, loungers, and umbrella.

Hot water took a bit to figure out how to balance.

Nice hotel. Good view from the balcony, perfect if you want to get away from the city noise and still be close.

Bed was comfortable, aircon was powerful, wifi good, Hannah at the front desk was lovely and very kind. The location is great, it’s a 20-25 minute walk to the beach, hundreds of restaurants en route. Room was very clean and cleaning staff were very sweet

Would have been great to have breakfast option, but given the price, we were happy to have brekkie out and about

Kudos to Hana!(receptionist). She was very helpful and kind every time I need something. She even walked me out while I was leaving. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. If you have a bike it’s just 5mnts drive to the beach.

Adjusting the water in the shower was difficult. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold. I guess there was an issue with the taps or the plumbing system

Hotel has a nice view of the mountains. It was clean and quiet. Location is great. Lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

Would never recommend this hotel. There is no elevator so we had to lug our bags up 4 levels, noisy aircon - it was so bad that we moved out after the 1st night. Shower didn't work properly and no pressure. Hole in the wall plugged with a wet tissue paper, noisy fridge, hard beds, hard pillows. The only good thing about this hotel was the view from the upstairs balcony.

Wonderful large room with a spacious balcony overlooking the mountains

When walking back from the main road there is a small stretch of road that has large pot holes and is not lit so you just need to put your torch on.

The room was big and clean, with a nice outdoor balcony. Hannah at the reception was extremely welcoming and helpful.
