禁煙室なのに、たばこの臭いが取り切れていない

Friendly staff although they don't speak English, they tried their best to communicate using translation device. Breakfast and welcome drinks included. The location was within walking distance to the station.

The room was very small, smelly and DATED. Unable to adjust the air conditioning system. although we stayed in the non-smoking floor, the lift smells like cigarettes. The room is dusty and you can see build up of dusts on the carpet. the room needs better ventilation.

The rooms are no larger than a shoe box with twin beds that feel like prison mattresses with sand paper linens. Legit the worst I’ve ever slept on or attempted to sleep on

Tiny tiny room, suite depressing. This hotel clearly needs renovation. Scratched furnitures, Bathroom door had a hole as if had been vandalized !

Great location with short walk to food and train station. Typical size room for hotels we've stayed at in Japan.

The room smelled of smoke even though booked non-smoking room. The walls needed cleaned or coat of paint as they were dirty/scoffed. Breakfast was just okay but very limited in options for food and Japanese style so fish, salad, rice, soup, natto, etc...

First room assigned had mold all around the entrance to the bathroom. Went down to the front desk and they were very, very apologetic about it. Despite the hotel being fully booked they were able to assign me a second room. Unfortunately, the second room also had a little mold around the aircon vent and inside the bathroom. It was the only alternative available, so I just had to deal with it. Aside from the mold problem, everything else was fine. I don't care at all whether a facility is old or not, but I draw the line at hygiene and cleanliness. I would have only given 1 star due to the mold problem, but since the staff were very accommodating and helpful I'm bumping it up to 2 stars. If cleanliness and mold doesn't really bother you, this hotel is actually a good deal due to good location and reasonable pricing. However, if mold bothers you then I would suggest you find a different hotel.
