Very good accommodation for this price in San Andres. Simple, small but clean and perfect to stay a couple of nights. Super friendly hosts, waited up for me till midnight after I called an told them my plane was delayed and provided me with the necessary.

"Cheap and clean posada"

6.0

The posada was OK, just like the price. We had a problem with the reservation but at the end we had a small room, where we could sleep one night.

El servicio fue regular empezando porque las fotos que muetran por internet no es como son y ademas solo se tuvo servicio de TV unicamente dos dias, no servicio wifi, aseo de baños regular. y bastante retirado de la playa

"staff ok, but hotel/room quality below average"

4.0

Staff and attention was good, no complains. However, the hotel/rooms quality is quite below the average of a similar ranked hotel... not sure yet how "hotels.com" accept to advertise this as a 3-stars (could not be compared to). The neighboring is not very comfortable, feels unsafe, and is not close to the beach e.g. you need to take a cab or prepare for a long walk. I am sorry, but I felt we made a mistake when selected this hotel, but we realized when arrived there, and since the booking conditions are "non refundable", we have to stay-somehow for not to loose the money. I will not recommend it to a friend of mine, neither I will comeback here.

"Do not waste your pennies"

2.0

The only nice thing about this posada was the staff. They were nice and accommodating. But still they cannot make up for the conditions. We reserved a triple room and received a room with a full size bed (for two people) and a couch. I guess the couch was meant to count as a bed. The closet is literally an open shelf in front of the door. The bathroom is a shoebox and don't get me started on describing the shower. The water is cold (ok - it's Colombia) and there is no showerhead. The water falls out of the bare pipe like a weak waterfall. Forget about pressure. There is more expensive lodging on the island. I regret not spending a little more money for better accommodations.

"Not a pleasant welcome to the Carribean"

2.0

I arrived for a late check in, but emailed the hotel twice in advance about this. No problem it was said. When I got dropped off by the taxi late at night, nobody was there to let me in! I had to stand in the street for an hour and could have been robbed. I made an international long distance call, at huge cost to me to hotels.com asking for help, I was told they will contact the allocations department, was put on hold and then after 12 minutes was cut off by hotels.com! Nobody called me back and nobody emailed me either. The owner of the place did arrive after an hour and I was left in. The next morning he wanted full payment for my stay in advance, after 50% was already paid months in advance. The owner's dogs are allowed to bark at the most inopportune times, which frequently woke me up. The owner of the hotel also let himself into my room whilst I was out to turn off the aircon, explaining later that it is for environmental reasons. This despite the fact that I am extremely heat and humidity sensitive and the weatherforecast said that it felt like 36C during my stay there, which necessitated a cool room to return to. I fully realise that this is a cheap hotel, but I am not complaining about the amenities. You get what you pay for. But I do have a big problem with how that place is run and how I was treated by hotels.com
