Boomerang Village Resort Kata

We stayed in a deluxe room (with an extra bed) and found the room more than big enough for 2 adults and a teenager. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice and available until 11h30 was a big plus. The restaurant was also good especially the Thai dishes. We were at the top of the hill but didn't find it a problem. The free transfer to and from Kata beach was a godsend.

overall this resort was very good value for money.staff went out of their way to help, the restaurant was good, the roomies were large and well,set up.Free Wifi was a plus. for first timers like us we didn't know what to expect on out first visit to the beach. A very enjoyable stay.

Hotel had beautiful landscape.It's a quite place to stay with friendly hotel staff. It's ten minutes away from kata beach where hotel provides free scheduled transportation to beach. Decent room with good facillities.free wifi and internet pc available.

Had a really lovely holiday here, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there's a nice pool and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the beach (about 15 minutes), but the hotel also offers a free transfer during the day. The beach was very pretty and the town very nice too - good choice of restaurants and some great food!

Overall pretty good. Huge room and bed for just me, but it was nice not to be stuck in a small room, just because you are a solo traveller. Bathroom was smallish, but perfectly functional. Good daisy head shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful (where there English allowed). My second room (because I hadn't booked enough nights) was huge and rather excessive for one person, especially the bathroom. Air con never made the room quite cold enough and in the first room was a little noisy. Did have a problem with the safe not working which I did report, just the once and was never fixed, but I am sure they would have done if I'd ask again. Breakfast was fine for me, with quite a variety of fresh fruit. If you were creative you could get quite a lot out of it. One day when I left early before breakfast they made me up a picnic box the night before. Situated on a hill keeps you fit, but the grounds were well tended so you could take plenty of pauses to admire the flowers etc.

We stayed in a pool suite room which was a very nice room for the price. It was very relaxing at the hotel and we had a lovely stay. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. The surrounding neighborhood of the hotel is a let down. At the back you do have a lovely backdrop of the mountains but the walk out of the hotel is not pleasant. As soon as you leave the hotel grounds there is building work going on, lots of dogs roaming around and it is dirty with rubbish. I think this is one of the reasons the hotel is a 3 star rating.

We loved this hotel. It is quite small and although it is a bit out of the way, it was wonderful and so nice to be away from all the hustle of bustle of Phuket. We had a pool suite, so did not have to go very far to relax. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay here. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is good. The gardens surrounding look lovely and are kept very well. The only thing I would say is that the pool could be re-tiled in places and the outside shower could be cleaned better.
